LSU fans enjoy playing UF, it's usally a good game and it goes back and forth.
But we aren't their rivals.

History Channel even has a show about it.

I think both teams have embraced it as much as you can embrace a manufactured rivalry. I think we took pride in the fact that the game decided the national champion for a 3 year period.
That said, it is still manufactured so that Alabama can play Tennessee and Auburn can play Georgia. Why should we care about your rivalries? That is the real question. Also, in what universe is it fair that LSU plays Florida every year while Ole Miss plays Vanderbilt? Care to take a stab at that one?

Because LSU already has too many rivalries.

Because LSU likes playing high profile games. Quit crying, most LSU fans like playing Florida, including myself. Gotta beat the best to be the best. I will admit that this years schedule will be brutal though.

Alright tough guy. I'm not crying, just pointing out a basic inequity in the system. Big difference.
Also, if you pull your head out your arrogant arse you'll see that it is clearly in our interests NOT to play Florida every year (note this doesn't mean we are scared to play Florida, nobody is saying that).

Mkay, tell that to Alabama as they waltz through the easiest schedule in the league next year.

LSU isn't planning on putting up much of a fight, eh?

Funny coming from the team that has never beaten Saban @ Bama.

Why did Miles leave Tevin Lawson without a Scholarship yesterday? Especially after being committed to LSU for so long?
Blanchard can't be happy about that.

Despite the Admins wanting to get rid of this game annually, everyone I know loves this game and would be pissed to get rid of it.

It's not that LSU won't embrace a rivalry with Florida, it's that Florida won't embrace LSU as a rival - with good reason, LSU is a rival killer.
SEE: Tulane, Ole Miss.
NO ONE wants to be LSU's rival and end up like those two programs.

Because they're equals. But let's not take away from the fact that nothing is worse than LSU fans crying about that argument.

No, you don't. Alabama doesn't. They play easy teams from the East every year and have won three NCs in four years. We play the best teams in the East every year and haven't won a NC since 2007. Playing easy teams makes it easier to win titles, as Alabama repeatedly proves. Playing harder teams makes it harder, as LSU repeatedly proves.
