Alabama - 1 (2 if Robinson commits)
Arkansas - 3
Auburn - 0
Florida - 0
Georgia - 0
Kentucky - 1
LSU - 0
Mississippi State - 2
Missouri - 3
Ole Miss - 3
South Carolina - 0
Tennessee - 0
Texas A&M - 20 (22 if Hall and Prevot commit)
Vanderbilt - 0
The fact that the 13 schools in the SEC not in Texas have a combined total of 13 commits from Texas players surprised me a bit.

Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Auburn don't really recruit there at all. Only notable UGA players I can remember from Texas are Stafford and Rodney Hampton (before my time). Also some SMU death penalty transfers (also before my time)

Christian LaCouture for LSU is actually from texas, he just went to school in Neberaska because he was originally coommited there

Eh, there's a reason that the best teams in the SEC historically are close to the states of Florida and Georgia. No need to try to tap into Texas when those two states produce more than enough recruits for 4 or 5 programs to live off of.
With the exception of LSU, who just locks down in-state talent every year.

While you're keeping guard on the Eastern front Urban is coming from the North and poaching the #1 LB, the #1 DUAL and the #1 APB from your state.

A’Shawn Robinson is from my high school.

No he's actually from the northeast. He has nutso parents that moved him around based on the school he wanted to attend so they were in College Station for his junior year, then Lincoln his senior year.

Golden isn't signing with LSU, no matter how much the swamp kittens want it to be so.
The only A&M commit that is "waivering" is OL Joas Aguilar, and if he does flip, it will be to TCU.

lsu's low number is only temporary. we fired our #1 tejas recruiter for illegaly housing a juco transfer and it takes time for the new guy(s) to establish relationships. that being said, this year fell kind of funny for us with top flight committments from illinois, florida and carolina kids. we have been strong in georgia for awhile. lsu doensn't depend on the tejas kids. frankly, a number of them haven't panned out very well as of late. it's probably coincidence but it definately is cyclical. both florida and texas are hit and miss for us as we only want the top flight guys from there.

Two of our mid-term signees (Jaquay Williams, Tommy Sanders) are from Georgia.

The only ones even remotely in play are Hall and Prevot. If LSU gets them, we will be more disappointed than pissed.

I wouldn't mind Auburn signing one Texas QB a year... the number of amazing QBs that state has produced over the last few years is unreal... from drew brees to manziel... stafford to vince young... RGIII to andrew luck... crazy.

you would think aTm could get some out of state recruits since they played so far over their heads this year.
