I am not saying they were the only reasons.. I just think they handles securing him and keeping him very well. I do not have a great read on Battle, but it is things like Moore watching films with him.

Coker for two years, Cornwell for two years, and Town for two years sounds pretty good in my book.

Saban visiting in home with Brown in addition to Fournette tomorrow.
I hope both of these go well. Those two would be quite the pickup.
I like that LF in-home comes right before his visit. Helps to lay the ground work. Especially considering Les Miles in-home comes right afterward.

Texas is offering $100 million for 10 years
No way the number is anywhere near that. Won't be above $50M for whichever school he chooses.

Texas doesn't own LHN. ESPN does. Texas can't offer Saban something they don't own. They aren't the US government.

Jesus Christ.
Texas owns the brand and the money derived from it. Saban becomes the Texas coach, ESPN re-tools its next deal upwards in value, and he enjoys a windfall off of his 1% stake.

I take it Saban is still our coach. That's the only explanation for the sun coming up this morning.

It's not the real sun. It's a giant round light the government has installed in the sky.
It's the government, man.

Is it true that the athletic department is converting the old S&C facility into an iMax theater with a Dave and Busters in it?
Travis Reier said that in his Wednesdays Thoughts column on BOL.
Holy frick that is awesome if true. Imagine the recruiting violations we will rack up by giving prospective players shitty stuffed animals
filled with cash.

He is talking about the fact that we completely renovated it with meeting rooms with theater seating and then all the games for the players to play, not really putting a Dave and Busters in.

Seriously though, does anyone actually think Saban will leave?

Guy from BOL had this to say about Chris Williams last night:
Someone asked if he was related to all those guys and he responded with this:
quote:
Guys Chris comes from some exceptional stock. His kin includes Justin Tuck (New York Giants), Bobby Wagner (Seattle Seahawks), Michael Goggins (former Barn DE). This guy has the potential to be outstanding.
Someone asked if he was related to all those guys and he responded with this:
quote:
Yes he is. His mother is a Goggins. Coosa County connection. Lot of exceptional athletes in their family. Didn't even mention Adalius Thomas either.
