@CoachHughFreeze: If you have facts about a violation, send it to compliance@olemiss.edu. If not, please do not slander these young men or insult their family

Haha ... What a tool to posts that ... Why even give it credence by denying it? Seriously, nothing to be gained by doing that IYAM.

well played Freeze. Well played.

Smart man. Send it to OM compliance so they can cover it up.

Just saw that on twitter. That will just make more people interested and wonder why he's denying so much.

Freeze does not seem like he's smart enough to cover up any recruiting violations. He will frick himself and the program soon.

What a fu*king idiot. This is beneath a head coach; shouldn't chime in on the issue. Now I think more than ever OM is paying players.

Freeze is probably responding to this...

Lots of y'all via email and Twitter: "How can you explain Ole Miss's recruiting success without cheating being involved?" I have no idea. Truly, none. When was the last time minorities living outside the Magnolia State voluntarily went to live in Mississippi when they could have gone to live in every other state in the nation instead? I mean, it doesn't surprise me that Ole Miss would do well with recruiting players from Mississippi -- or a city like Memphis that is just an hour or so away from campus -- but five stars from Indiana and Illinois? Seriously? I love Oxford, but it's not Atlanta. Ole Miss could end up with the number one recruiting class in the nation and the top three players in the entire class. Ole Miss! No school has ever gotten the top three players in a recruiting class before. Here are the SEC schools that have never been to the title game: Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt. (Also, A&M and Mizzou, but they've been in the conference for a year, stop with the stupid emails). Either Hugh Freeze is the greatest recruiting head coach in the history of the universe or something fishy is going on in Oxford. I eagerly await ESPN's 60 for 60 on the Ole Miss class of 2013.

I'll be honest...whether it's the wrong thing to do or not. I had always wished Chizik had been more like that. Just say FU bitches!!!
Posted on 2/1/13 at 5:31 pm to Bryant91092
Come on hugh.. any reasonable human can tell some strange shite is going down. Why would that many 5 stars want to go to Ole Piss without being paid?
Posted on 2/1/13 at 5:42 pm to Bryant91092
WTF has happened to this recruiting board??? I remember when it opened the majority of us would have never let the flame fests I am seeing now even get started. This board is getting as bad as the rant....which is why I am parking my car in here more....carry on you bitches....
It really does suck though.

if he wanted to quell suspicions of his program, this is absolutely the worst thing he could have possibly done. rookie move. i was on the fence on whether they just hit the jack pot or if something screwy was going on. i read this, im pretty sure now that there is something to it. its not like it would be surprising. dude was on orgeron's staff and was involved in the questionable recruitment of oher when a HS coach.

I think its great.
The NCAA is toothless. Wouldn't take Auburn's title, won't take down Miami.
Given that positive re-enforcement eventually a program was going to say "frick it, lets see how far we can go."
I like it even better that is wasn't a Blue Blood. College football has a terrible lack of parity built-in, so what does an Ole Miss have to lose? They get caught and they are forced to the basement again?
I applaud what Ole Miss is doing. A&M can't do it because Texas would rebuild the fricking NCAA just to keep us in our place, so I am glad someone is.
