Rumor is the AD asked all the sites to hold back until 6 tonight.
But as a general matter, we don't expect many--if any--commits.
Noil, Willis, and the stud RB are in town.

Fournette is in Nola at a combine with Tony Brown.
Try again.

Sick burn.
Last read an update a couple days ago.
Although I'm sure Brown is working on him.

Sumlin put the clamps down. No recruiting service contact w/ Jr day visitors until 6 p.m.

It would be a surprise if A&M got more than 1 or 2 commits today. They already have 6 in what will be a class of around 20 and all the folks in today are national level recruits that have already got offers. Sumlin has also really tried to clamp down on when kids committing that they shut down the process or stop taking visits. That's part of why we have had some decommits in the last month, A&M doesn't consider a kid that is actively shopping a commit. That doesn't mean they will pull their offer but they will continue to recruit as though they need to fill that spot.

I attended the vto combine today and yesterday. Fournette and tony brown have struck a friendship. Looks as if both are lsu leans. Brown' s sister is expecting to commit to lsu in track in the very near future.

Interesting.
We hear she's going to run for the best program in the country. Guess we'll see.

We have more than one junior day, derp.

I know you have more than one jr. day but this seemed to be the one with the most highly regarded recruits. i have to believe t. brown invited to this one and he skipped out and went all the way out of state for a little known camp/combine. very interesting.

Tank Davis first to commit.

Davis sounds like a decent tackle... Not a Joeckel or Matthews type. A lot of people have wondered if Sumlin could keep getting the OL talent that Sherman did. They have not been able to do that at Oregon. Maybe they like Tank more than the recruiting sites. He definitely needs to put on some weight. 256 lbs for an OT is light!

256 as a junior in H.S.?
It is his length, wingspan, and athletic ability that matter more right now.
At 6'5 now, he will put on weight no problem with Coach Action Jackson and the RC Slocum Nutrition Center

I love this pick up by A&M
He's got all the makings of a great tackle. Feed him and remember his name.
