I was disappointed,the opposition HATES that. Didn;t hear it from UGA either,

the "S-E-C" chant is only fun against ACC teams because deep down they know their conference is crap.

I wasn't there so I don't know for sure but someone on my facebook feed said Michigan fans started chanting 'SEC sucks' at one point.
If USC fans did start chanting 'SEC' it must have been after the coverage switched over to the Rose Bowl. They switched really fast. Usually you're able to hear it with about 1-2 minutes left in the game when said SEC team is winning comfortably but alas, we won with 11 seconds left so wouldn't chant til after the game.

They had both the UGA and USC games on at Home Team on Sullivan's Island. The crowd did the S-E-C chant as the games were winding down. Great atmosphere.

The SEC chant can only be used when victory is assured. Considering SC was losing with 12 seconds left SC fans didn't have a whole lot of time to get it going.

USCe had the perfect opp to chant given it would have been a taunt of SEC resilience.
