Assuming the conference stays at 14 teams (which it probably won't)
My opinion:
09) Tennessee - I think UT will improve but they have regressed too far to catch up quickly.
10) Mississippi State - Because frick Mississippi State
11) Auburn - Terrible administration will finally catch up with this proud program.
12) Vandy - Franklin will be gone soon and while the program will be a smidge better for the wear, it will be a quick return to mediocrity.
13) Missouri - Program will make its mark in basketball but will struggle to compete in football due to poor recruiting and general wussitude.
14) Kentucky - Basketball school that will always struggle to compete in football.

We will have a new AD soon enough, so my question is do you think the failures are beyond the AD and can't be fixed, or do you expect the next hire to continue the downward spiral?

We'll see. Stoops is off to a good start (Welcome to the Big Blue Nation Za'Darius) and the administration is making actual moves to improve football. If we can reel off 5 bowl appearances in a row under far shittier circumstances there's no reason it (or better) can't happen again.

UT and Auburn > Arkansas in 5 years
Hell in 2 years

I doubt there's a distinct, stratified "bottom six" like there is a big six. Hell, it's not even a big six anymore.
So, I'm going to do a big four, bottom four, middle six.
Big four: Alabama, LSU, Florida obviously are here. I'm having trouble breaking the tie between Georgia and South Carolina. I'm going with Georgia because they've won the East twice in a row and seem to have more long-term potential.
Middle six: South Carolina and Arkansas are obvious choices. Texas A&M is unproven, but their performance this year merits their inclusion. Vanderbilt is definitely in here, though if Franklin leaves they'll exit in record time. Mississippi State earned a spot here as well after the past three years. The last spot is, frankly, charity, as the bottom five in the SEC have performed approximately the same, but of the bottom five, Auburn at least has a national title in the past five years.
Bottom four: Missouri and Kentucky are 1-2. Tennessee has performed as well as Missouri did this year... for four of the past five seasons (and their one outlier was a 7-5 run). So they're here. Ole Miss fans, I hate to say it, but you're here as well. If it's any consolation, you're not far behind Auburn, and a good year this year coupled with Auburn not righting the ship probably puts you in their company.
So if I had to pick a bottom six, I'd say Ole Miss, Tennessee, Auburn, Kentucky, Missouri, and Mississippi State. I expect the Mississippi schools to perform the best out of the bunch though.

9)Auburn - Gus Bus arrives to the plains on flats carrying a sun belt staff, 6-6 seasons and playing bowl games in state isn't enough to squash the Saban envy before he is relieved of his duties to be replaced by Tracy Rocker
10) Ms. State - Mullen has another year to believe in getting State to an unprecedented Liberty Bowl, no better job offers come along, he stays, Independence bowls to follow.
11) Kentucky - Stoops gets them to 6-6 by playing the who's who of the MAC and Sunbelt, good enough to Kentucky.
12) LSU - After departing for the Eagles, Chip Kelly goes before the NCAA to testify in the Willie Lyles scandal blowing to top right off it, bowl ban, vacated games, and sanctions follow several programs who paid for his "services" and players.
13) Tennessee - Impatience with Jones and hearing Gruden on MNF leads Tennessee fans to think the still have a chance, Jones if fired after a dismal two seasons on Rocky Top.
14) Missouri - Pinkel "retires" after next season, they go "all in" in basketball thinking they can rival Kentucky, learn in 5 years that occasional sweet 16s don't cut it.

Replace Miss. State with Arky and you're on to something.

All these threads you make, you're really setting yourself up for disappointment.

OK here's my list for the crap6 going forward for the next 5 years:
09) AU- a Big 6 Member and a Crap6 member at the same time, very special bunch on the plains
10) Ole Miss
11) MSSTATE
12) MO Tigers
13) Vandy- Franklin will leave
14) Kentucky- no real debate on this one.

Every team on your list with the exception of Kentucky has more SEC wins that OM has had since 2009. I think that clearly puts Ole Miss as #7, clearly in the bottom of the seller in the west.
Ole Miss: The Big 6-6!
