Ran on first down after the long pass and were stuffed. You were scared to run or else scared Yeldon might fumble again.

First down was a pass play that was a sack. Second down was a run play that gained 2-3 yards. Third down was a pass play which AJ ended up scrambling to the 2 yard line. Fourth down was the interception which was a poor throw (and a good play).

When we had to run, we got positive yards. We chose to pass instead for whatever reason.

LSU's D > Bama D

Actually LSU's defense is faster. It takes a fast defense and a good/deep set of DBs who can cover in man. LSU has it more than Bama.

Nice consolation prize I guess.

Oh, good luck in your bowl games.

Happy the team responded after getting punched in the mouth....that experience paid serious dividends vs UGA in my opinion
You can say that again!

It was a scheduling conspiracy by the SEC against Bama. THey made em play TAMU immediately after the LSU game.

We will get that fixed right away.

Another scheduling item to fix is that late kick-off with Ole MIss - enough already.

So did Bama beat themselves or did A&M actually win?

I agree with the OP, if bama had stuck to the ground game more they had a better shot at winnin. flip side to that though is our secondary is worse than our run game. just a very weird game and comparison overall. interesting to see how the lsu and bama games play out next year.

I think they would have if they hadn't been down by 20 points in the first quarter.

4) LSU ran the ball and didn't try to have Mett win the game for them. When LSU was down 12-0, they still kept pounding on aTm and wore them down. For some reason Bama thinks the ball in McCarron's hands is more effective than in Lacy or Yeldon's. THey finally realized it isn't against UGA. He's good for a PA pass here and there, but Lacy and Yeldon running behind that OL are what makes them successful, not McCarron throwing the ball.

Damn, big guy. You get it. Predictions for Alabama-Notre Dame?

because LSU physically beat bama down. If bama plays a&m before they play LSU bama steam rolls them by 20.

LSU physically whipped the shite out of bama but bad in game coaching from lester miles killed his great game plan and his players effort.

I think that is part of it, but Saban hitting the panic button and abandoning his gameplan didn't help. Also, we're pretty damn good.
