When will Arkansas fans finally accept the fact that no one cares about track NC's other than hog fans trying to convince themselves their school is relevant? I would trade 20 track NC's for a BCS crystal ball, and anyone who wouldn't should stop watching football

I disagree with this, when looking at the all around picture, every school brings at least one thing to the table.
MSU???
Mizzou?
OM?
No flames. Just curious as to your thoughts on those three. I don't know much about any of them to say either way. Aaaaand, hush. I was trying to belittle the little 8.

I think the answer is never.
I know track isn't a big deal but they do have an impressive "track" record. :drumroll:

That's your opinion and you stating it like it is fact doesn't magically make it any more than an opinion.
I will happily show off our national championships in any and all sports, because that means that our school was the best in the nation compared to hundreds of other competitors. It doesn't matter what sport. Being the best is being the best.

Womens track and baseball contribute just as much money and recognition as football does. It's got to be Lsu.
Without the lsu womens track team winning that meet against the yanks in 1926, southern track and it's universities would get no respect to this day. That is a fact, jack

Turf management. Sounds like a flame or something that shouldn't be taken seriously, but it's really a big deal and they are the best in the country at it.
Also, Will Clark went there.

I would assume with a lot of track championships, that schools like Arkansas and LSU send a lot of their track athletes to the Olympics to represent the United States against the rest of the world.
I'd say that is pretty meaningful.

Show me some average attendances for your track meets and we'll compare that to our average football attendance. Maybe that will eliminate opinions and give us a better idea how the two compare. Also, how many razorback track meets have you attended?
ETA: If it weren't for hog fans always using it to make up for their football program's lack of success, most of us wouldn't even know that Arkansas has 50 track NC's

The track athletes go on to compete against the best athletes on the planet. I'm definitely not ashamed to claim them.

I think Florida leads in terms of athletics and academics, but Arkansas is undeniably the moral leader of the SEC.
