So I know we are all on the new coach search but I thought I would break the monotony by throwing up some info on next years team our new coach will have to work with. These are existing players on our team. We know a few will transfer, get thrown off and so forth but this is what we have to work with coming back..

Quarterback

Jonathan Wallace - So (Has to be our best bet at QB)
Kiehl Frazier - JR (I personally think this kid transfers)
Clint Moseley SR (Lutz)
Ryan Carter - So

Running Back

Tre Mason JR (Solid)
Mike Blakely - So
Corey Grant - Jr
Jay Prosch - Sr
Blake Burgess - SR (Looks like he may not return)

Wide Out

Trovon Reed - Jr (Still waiting)
Quan Bray - Jr
Jaylon Denson - Jr
Sammie Coates -SO
Ricardo Louis - So
Melvin Ray - So (will he play)

Tight End

Brandon Fulse - Jr
CJ Uzomah - Jr
Chris Landrum - So
Ricky Parks - RS Fr
Darrion Hutcherson - RS FR

Center

Reese Dismukes - JR
Tunde Faiylke - Jr

Offensinve Guard

Alex Kozan - RS Fr
Christian Westerman - So
Chade Slade - Jr
Eric Mack - Jr (will he return)

Offensive Tackle

Greg Robinson - So
Shon Coleman - So
Avery Young - So
Patrick Miller - So
Will Adams - RS Fs
Jordan Diamond - RS Fr

let me know who I left off of importance. Also, where are we in the most need? I think Qb obviously. If Frazier transfers and Johnson decommits, I see us going JuCo'ing for a back up QB. No way we can rely on Clint as a back up.

We look OK at Wide out if they step up. Same with running back and Offensive line..

I'd say Sammie Coates will be the #1 target at WR. Melvin Ray has all the physical tools to be a contributor if they'd give him a chance. I'm not a fan of undersized WRs like Bray that are only useful for bubble screens.

Hadn't heard that....seems silly to transfer when you will be a senior.

I think I saw on 247 where he said he would not return. I should have put that instead of "transferring" . I will edit

Hutcherson never made in into school, I believe.

I think Parks and Kozan redshirted... there's also the OL from south AL (can't remember his name)... leff, or something like that.

There's some talent, but I don't see any play-makers at any skill positions... and certainly no QB who can get them the ball anyway.

The OL could be pretty good, provided some guys develop/step up.

No worries, just hadn't heard it. Too bad, the kid was a hard worker at least and willing to play any position on the field.

I actually saw it on another Auburn site. There is no link either. I will leave it there till we see something solid. He may still be All In... I would think he is emotional since Chiz gave him his scholarship....

There are a few others on our depth chart that I have not heard from but I cant believe many or any of them are in play to start.

This will be what we have plus what we get in February.

I will do the Defense later. Hopefully, we can build a starting line up for BMFP to use.

I doubt he's leaving AU.. just the football team.

Unless he's leaving to pursue theatre at another school

I think if we hire Bobby we will have a very good offense next year if the O-line can hold their own.

Obviously the qb is the big question. Wallace is going to have to improve a lot. He has the heart to do it, he just needs a skill set to match.

We WILL have an outstanding offensive line in the near future. Not sure how quickly, but that is a lot of talent that will be here the next 2-3 years and a lot of experienced talent.

Skill positions are adequate IMO.

I think a new coach will have plenty of experienced talent to work with next year. It is just all about getting the right HC/OC and qb development or a quality JUCO guy.

We need to go Juco'ing to get a back up. We cant possibly count on Moseley

Ive been saying this with everyone else but they quit on us this year. Not a good sign

We need a "goto" receiver now that Blake is gone. Who will that be?

We have that JUCO RB coming in January (Cam something-Payne). He's supposed to be pretty solid

Not really sure rb is a position of most need. Glad he is coming though.

Tell me we have some linebackers on the way and I will buy you lunch.

Dyou mind going through that list and tell he who had a true redshirt season? IMO the redshirt program at AU has been non existent the past 4 years.

Moseley needs to be thanked for his service and cut from the team. He has no place on the AU football team.
