If they send us to the Compass Bowl will you go or not?

I'm hoping and praying we get the Gator, but if we don't, I'm gonna be pissed if we get sent to Birmingham and their Compass Bowl. It's on January 5th which is a Saturday. I'm sure a lot of State fans would go but probably won't stay there.

Not very thrilled about either really. Losing the possibility of the Peach was a punch in the stomach. Birmingham is a short drive from Atlanta...I would probably go.

No. I might make the Gator Bowl. It all depends on if the Orlando Miracle have a home game or not. FML!

Still working out some details, but I should be able to go wherever we get placed.

I went to 2010 Gator Bowl, had a blast. What are your reasons for least likely to return to MCB? Just wondering..

Id be in for Bham solely because of proximity. Short drive and its basically on my Bday.

Birmingham, and it being on Jan 5th makes this bowl the least desirable bowl of any of the possible bowls we could land in.
When I think of Birmingham I think of the empty dump with terrible turf that we played at last year vs UAB.

I don't see us falling below the Gator.

I was pretty excited about the Gator two years ago. Now, knowing how freaking far Jacksonville is from Brandon, I will be hesitant to drive that again and will only fly. If we pull the Compass I will vote with my absence my displeasure for Mullen's assistants.

Yeah I'd probably go.
Jacksonville would be a fun trip if I had people that I could get to go with me.
Problem is all my friends ever do is sit around and play video games then whine about having no money :P

Yeah the bvdda compass bowl is a kick to the nuts alright. It's lower than the Liberty bowl which is bad enough.

You guys realize that there are only 8 bowl eligible teams in the SEC this year and the BBVA Compass Bowl gets 9th pick, right? Vandy is locked into the music City Bowl, and we have two more wins than the bears so we can't drop below them. The Bears will be in the Liberty, and we will be in the Gator, as it is the one above the Music City Bowl.
