Maybe Chizik was our "double-secret probation" and we're about to finish our sentence.

Isn't this old news? People talked about Trooper and Luper getting pulled off the road weeks ago...

Another strike against Chiz and a big one against Jacobs.

No way Dr. Goob should either of these losers.

I gotta say I am not too concerned. This doesn't sound like much and just the fact we are being investigated (again) may not bode well for Jacobs even if nothing comes of it.

And the DuBose comparison is almost complete.

Remember, their NCAA investigation which ultimately developed into the Albert Means case picked up steam after he started losing. He was relieved of his duties and Dennis was hired before they even got their preliminary LOI.

Of course now the question becomes, will concern over possible future NCAA punishment screw up the coaching search, just like it did for Bama. We'll see.

The good news for Auburn is they are almost at rock bottom.

Only one direction to go after that.

Just be thankful you're not a Texas fan where Mac Brown would suck the life out of you over 10-20 years.

I knew this was going to happen when Toney and Foster started hanging around practices and all the games. Only a matter of time before "someone" affiliated with AU offers them something. Could be anything from a free hotel room for the family or shirts or jerseys who fricking knows. I don't think it will be much, but I knew it was only a matter of time. There goes our chance of hiring any big name coach. Cmon down Gus Malzahn
