I know little about Syracuse. I watched their first game against USC, I hear they have a legit QB. This feels like a trap game to me. Having Non-Con in Novemeber is bad enough, having a non-con that is decent worries me. That being said...

The team is starting to gel, I see improvememnt in all aspects. If JF can manage to even have a decent first half we should be up by 2 TD's at the half.

However, as we all know, if bad JF shows up in the first half it will be an uphill battle.

Either way, the defense and running game will win the day for Ol' Mizzou.

31-21 Jumbos.

I really haven't done a whole lot of watching Syracuse play this year, so I could be surprised. But I at this point I think James is getting some swagger back and we will win, maybe even big.

31-17 Tigers. JUMBOS all around after the game, especially since Pinks divorce has finally been settled.

Taking a quick look at the numbers from their games, it's evident they relied a lot on their QB play for most of the season. They didn't have a 100 yard rusher the entire season until the last three games. It seems this Jerome Smith has settled in at RB with 3 consecutive 100+ yard games. Having said that, the passing game is what would give me concern, if any, but we saw a much better QB and WR's in the Tennessee game.

I think after going up against defenses the likes of UGA, UF, USCe and Bama, the offense is going to gain some traction and hopefully carry it into the last game against A&M.

I won't predict the score, but I think we win. Pinkel teams in recent history, with their backs against the wall, and need a win, pulls it out. I see the same thing happening.

No clue or feeling on this game. I'll just guess 28-21, MU.

I'd put them on par with maybe Tennessee, but not as talented. I think Franklin is getting better and has knocked some rust off his passing game.

On the other hand......

I just hope Syracuse does'nt pull one out of ASU's gameplan and blitz every other play. If they do, thats the only way I see Syracuse keeping stride with Mizzou. But, Mizzou's line is finally gelling and the running game is starting to emerge more and better.

But I feel good about this game.

35-17 Mizzou.

27/13 MU

Syracuse will blitz because that's what they do but with Franklin at QB instead of Corbin, not going to have the same impact it had w/ ASU. Morse is better than Britt IMO and that will show again this week.

Syracuse's defense has played well at times but they are undersized. Biggest d-lineman is 280 and their LBers run 215ish. No reason the Oline can't dominate against lesser talent.

Their most dynamic defender is Shamarko Thomas at SS who has later round NFL potential. Brandon Sharpe at DE is ok - he's Big East good. Tiger's Madison is a better DE.

I don't know how Nassib throws on the run. We'll see this weekend because Richardson will flush him 10x.

If we run the ball, and people we can we just do not, it will keep the defense off the field. Sheldon's absence will not be that big.

We are having to watch on laptops also. Very frustrating, keeps failing, have to reload.

Tigers up 27-24 and lucky to have that. Getting tense now, Syracuse driving ....oh.....F**k! Syracuse going to a bowl game.

Bump because I was the only one in this thread who said he or she was worried about the game.
