With in the offseason about how to stop A&M. Remember it was Stoops in the 09 offseason to figure out how to stop Tebow and Florida.
We know it won't be Miles or Muschamp. Maybe Stoops again?

We have enough film from an X/O's standpoint. Even Tebow didn't make it 4 seasons unhurt in SEC ball with a good 50 pounds on Manziel. He will have to adjust or his career won't last long.
But its probably similar to stopping Tebow and we have 3 more cracks at it.

Idk but I'm sure Muschamp has been blowing up Saban's phone.

Why not consult with Muschamp? He shut out Texas A&M in the second half and has plenty of experience going up against the spread offense in the Big 12. He probably knows a thing or two about defending against the spread.

You had film on Florida from 07 and 08 but failed stop them until the stoops and Saban got together and figured out to drop a lbcker in the d end spot to stop the read option.

Meh, he seemed to hold his own pretty well and avoided hard solid hits.
A&M's offense has grown in complexity a great deal since that first game. What UF died wouldn't necessarily work as well down the road

Why would Muschamp want to consult with Saban. They may be tight but I don't see Two SEC coaches giving each other ideas on how to stop another SEC team

Yeah that was it. Saban needed Stoops help. Oh wait Stoops' staff flew to Tuscaloosa for help.

Help for what? Florida was the only common opponent. It happened a few months after both team played and lost to Florida. Makes more sense than anything your trying to spew

Didn't Dan Mullen give Saban some pointers about how to defend against CUM's spread offense before the SEC Championship Game in 2009? It's been a few years but I could have sworn there was some talk about Mullen helping out Saban.
