You should be. Spotted you 20 and really should have won the game anyhow.
Is "spotted you 20" code for our offense scoring more points in the first quarter than your team has given up in the last year and a half??? Pure fluke I'm sure.
Unfortunately, some of you guys dont seem to realize that in a football game, points scored on the first drive of the game, count just as much as points scored on the last drive of the game....
Blame it on whatever you want (not being used to our style or speed of offense or whatever) but I'm tired of some bama fans not owning up to the fact that we held bama to 3.6yards per rush (which is significantly lower than your season average) and there was nothing fancy or unique about our scheme.
We came to your house and beat Nick saban's team by doing what he usually does to his opponents.
-We rushed for more yards
-Won TOP
-Won Turnover battle
-Less Penalties
Tired of the excuses. Just man up and say we were the better team on that particular day.

Good thing there's this thing called next season.
However, this season: TAMU > BAMA

I have given you credit. You won the game. Fair and square.Dominated? In the first quarter yes not after you got outscored 24-9 and we ended up with more total yards than you had.
Dominated? We are at the six first and goal to take the lead yes after spotting you 20 and spit the bit trying to throw the ball.
What ifs dont count but Eddie Lacy running behind three tight ends and Jesse Williams four times..well it might have gotten pretty hot for you.

To quote Coach Sherrill; "A&M has scored touchdowns on its first 3 possessions in each of the last 3 games - that just ain't natural".
It's called consistency, and it doesn't matter who the opponent is.
Gig 'Em!

There's a good chance we lose Matthews and Joeckel (and Moore on D). All have been quoted as saying they are enjoying themselves way too much and want to come back for another year of the college experience.
I think when they finally sit down and analyze how high their draft stock is gonna be, they'll be rational and realize it would be foolish to pass up the early 1st round payday. (I'm secretly hoping they look into one of those McGahee insurance policies at that point )
One thing is for sure though, it's nice to have the luxury of a mobile quarterback when you have a weak line. Especially when, as Sam Montgomery says, D-lines are forced to sit back and not rush for fear Manziel may break one.
This offseason will be interesting for our team. Regardless, we're ahead of schedule. I didn't honestly expect to see the fruits of Sumlin's labor (and of course the SEC move as well) until year 4 at the earliest. Any success we have over the next couple of years is gravy to me. I'm enjoying the positive direction too much right now to really give a sheet honestly.
Have a nice day.

You're also coming into one of the weakest overall SEC's in recent memory.
