Aggies don't give a shite about the game either. Grinders however act like it was MNC game, and felt the need to create a twitter account for it, as well as put fricking hashtags in their end zone. Do not understand State's obsession with that game, but when you are under .500 as a program all-time I guess you cling to what you can.

This State fan thinks it was silly to "commemorate" a pitiful bowl game because it snowed. It was still the Independence bowl. But I really don't give a shite what A&M thinks.

No, you didn't. Unless you think everyone should infer "radio" from the term "interview". I'm sure you will be editing soon.

Have you lived to see A&M win a "better" bowl game? Probably not?

So the fact that we haven't won a better bowl game means what? Does that make MSUs actions any less pathetic? Not really ... It would be on par with us having a Galleryfurniture.com Bowl remembrance day if we ever play TCU.

nobody said it was relevant on a national scale. It was all harmless marketing, and your team didn't participate but tried to beat us in uniforms? This is a stupid thread even for the rant.

The irony is YOUR fanbase trying to call MSU out for commemorating a game that is widely called one of the most memorable(overall) CFB games of the previous decade. Every other SEC fanbase(outside of a few OM fans) acknowledges that it was a very memorable game. Much more memorable than any Indy Bowl should ever be, because of the score, the snow, the white unis, the Jackie Sherrill connection, and the nature in which we won it in OT. Everyone else in the conference acknowledges this but you.

What is the harm in trying something a little different? A hashtag on a field, different uniforms, fake snow falling on run out... What is the problem with this?

Then again, I'm trying to reason with a fanbase that will forever continue to employ traditions almost unanimously involving teams that they no longer play. So, while you think it's ignorant that we would try something new, I will continue to laugh everytime you Saw Varsity's Horns Off.

Who in hell would want to commemorate a bowl game in Shreveport, regardless of the weather conditions?

This Ag sees nothing wrong commemorating the Snow Bowl. The Snow Bowl has been avenged, and we can now move on with our lives.
