Thanks for that Tiger_J. I hope some of these guys turn out. I just have an ominous feeling about the class coming up.

Roderick Johnson and Kevin Pendelton are the two whom I feel are really important for the positions they play and their size. The guys we are getting now will end up being 3*s im guessing. But we all know these 4* recruits are waiting to see the new offense and see if we win some games.

Brian Wallace lists Mizzou among his top three. Has not been assigned a star yet by rivals but is listed as a 3* by scout and 247

Sorry for blowing up the boards the past few days lol found another player with a Mizzou offer. Dewayne Hendrix 4* DE from Illinois. He would be a very nice pull. Illinois is a state I think we should be hitting hard. Make Mizzou the gateway to the SEC for these players. Raymond Wingo is a 3* Athlete who would probably play somewhere in the secondary, from St. Louis.

Agreed. And after losing Bauer, they are almost a must. Wallace would be nice as well.

I would love to get Hendrix. Not sure that will happen though. But you're right, we have to recruit strong on the Illinois side. Ignored that area relatively speaking for far too long.

Anyone with any info on Dominique Booth. I believe he has connections with Ford but on 247, MU has gone from warmer to warm to now cool for whatever that's worth. At one time I thought we'd have a legitimate shot given the connection and I believe we were in on him early as a result.

Last I heard he put Mizzou in his top 10 on the 13th of this month. Nothing new since then. He was at the Bama spring game on Saturday. Honestly I dont think he has a leader. He has been fairly silent with his recruitment and I feel he has handled it beyond his years with maturity. Not saying he is leaning one way or not but the feeling I get is he is giving every team a legit chance. He was really impressed with what Jeremy Maclin does for charity in COMO and went out of his way to talk about that. I believe he is still trying to make plans for a Mizzou visit since weather cost him his last one. Dont hold too much to what he retweets on twitter. He RT's everything sent to him football related because he does not want people to feel like he is ignoring them.

Hendrix named Tennessee as his leader. Kyron Watson just named a top 3 that we didn't make. Good news is we are said to be the team to beat for Chris Murphy and CB is a position I would love for us to recruit better at.

Thanks for the info. Good to hear. kansas and Minnesota boys. They certainly seem to have re-adjusted where they are focusing their recruiting and making a bigger push for in the surrounding states. Now if we can recruit our own state as well.

I think winning solves the problem of recruiting in our own state. But I think everyone is in agreement we need to hit the big ten states. Get a few solid players from the south but be the gateway to the SEC for big ten players.

There were alot more visitors over the weekend. The rivals camp in St. Louis brought alot of guys to the state and many stopped by Mizzou while in the area.

we really need separate basketball/football threads. This is hard to sift through.

Yep.

Got the idea shot down a few weeks ago.. I guess we have a lot of people that take going 'green' pretty serious... don't want to waste too much bandwidth.

Apparently Mizzou made a good impression on 3* Paul Adams. 6'6 and 245 lbs.

In other news, Glendale senior defensive lineman Dakota Brake (6'2" 270 lb) will be a preferred walk on at Mizzou next season.

It would be much greener to have separate threads so people don't have to keep loading and scrolling through more posts than necessary.

Heres a big tip.....anything with a PG SG SF PF and C in front of their names is a basketball player and I know the C might go both ways but if their 6'9 and up and about 220-250lbs it's safe to say they are most likely one too

2 threads would be nice but frankly it's not like we have that much traffic here that it's tough to keep up. The recruiting thread gets an update about once every couple of weeks.
