Lets say Auburn upsets Bama. I know Chiz would probably stay. Would it feel better than winning a NC at this point? As down as we have been this year you have to admit it would have to be a miracle type game. There is a small chance we could upset the Gumps. Would we build a statue of Chizik? 
I think Chizik has nothing to lose at this point (cept more games) and he might pull something out and find a way to win......well maybe I dont really think that but I do have some slight hope

My brain can't process impossible things like this.
I really believe that we will lose by 40 to Bama. An accurate QB like McCarron coupled with their Lacy-Yeldon combo = hell for us.

It's a stretch but it is possible.(however unlikely I agree). But for whatever reason we win......Is it better than an NC by keeping Bama from one?

Hell no. I hate Alabama as much as anybody but its not even close.

Its a tough call but I would love to see it happen. I think I might even shed tears of joy if it were to happen

Nah, I don't hold it against Bama. Them losing does nothing for us.

I used to think that as long as we beat Bama I'd be OK. This season has proven me wrong on that...... Auburn football is more than Alabama.

It has always been more than Alabama. I hate comparisons to them, we are different programs that compete in the same conference. Yes we are in state rivals but nothing more, at least IMO.

I know some say we could go 1-11 and still have a good season as long as the one win is over 'Bama, but I seriously doubt that victory will save Chizik. If it does then Jacobs should be canned immediately.

A win over 'Bama doesn't end up in the trophy case. I'm not here for moral victories and in the SEC we don't pay coaches what Chizik is being paid to beat rivals. We pay them to win championships.

chiz shouldn't be fired 'til after the season. he deserves to suffer against bama like the rest of us....why let him off the hook now?

His buyout doesn't go down to 7.5 Million till December 1st, that's why he's not being fired right now.
