Your opinion made no sense, and frankly seems to be the opposite of what most people here (even a large majority of bama fans observed Sat night).

I see no reason to say Lacy is better than all of LSU's RBs. Like someone said, Lacy doesn't appear to have the quickness he had pre-injury. Maybe if he still had those quicks Sat night I would have a different opinion, but that wasn't the case. He is a big strong back that is very capable of running into a hole formed by Bama's top notch o-line. Hill was making things happen when those holes weren't there, and when they were.

Stats alone don't tell the whole story to a RB, you have numerous factors that make direct comparison in stats pointless... # of carries, what formation did his carries come from?, how good is his o-line?, how good is the oppositions Defensive front 7?

Hill and Yeldon are only freshman,

Personally, I hate that LSU has such a talented freshman to be a pain in the arse to defend over the next 2 years. Hill is better than any of the four man rotation you had last year...and they weren't/aren't second teir. If Miles rides Hill, he and Yeldon...along with the gurshall in Ga, could all be Heisman/Doak Walker contenders.

I'm agreeing that Hill is better than Lacy, but Lacy had several spin moves and several plays he got significant yards after contact Saturday. I don't think saying he can only run through a hole is at all accurate.

I misread the thread title. I thought it said bama ribs vs LSU ribs. I guess I'm getting hungry.

bama ribs are overrated.

Lacy is as talented as Hill, if not better. Both of our backs were on pace to go over 100 yards each, but we did not give them the ball near enough.

Yeldon reminds me of Alfred blue for some reason.

Well they look almost exactly the same as far as body structure and what not. Same number too.

As well as the up-right running style.

I'm just praying that Hill doesn't

A) Fizzle out like Justin Vincent
B) Get injured and pursue a rap career like Alley Broussard
C) End up in the dog house like Keiland Williams

All too frequently have we had great backs come in with a splash and end their respected careers not being what we all believed they would be. Also, we haven't seen the end of Hilliard either, IMO

Frankly, Yeldon and Lacy looked like the two best backs on the field Saturday night, even though Hill looks really good

Hill = BEAST

Both are NASTY. Period.

How so? He had 11 carries for 83 yards and a TD, and 1 reception for 19 yards. He was a beast. Looked at least good as Hill, but Yeldon's game-winning touchdown made him the most impressive out of the three.

I agree that Hill and Yeldon are both great and you are pretty much splitting hairs at this point in time with both being FR.

My favorite Alabama back is actually K Drake. He is a FR as well, and he has looked fantastic in games, but doesn't play as much as Yeldon/Lacy due to not being as good at picking up the blitz.

When he gets that down....look out the guy has all kinds of moves and speed.
