I asked a group of them for directions to Greenbo, AL while in Huntsville one weekend. Apparently 2 of the 10 had been there...

Never called a Bama fan a gump IRL but I have set a few straight over audacious claims or statements made in my presence.
Most memorable was a guy who told me DJ Hall would be a first round draft pick.

When catching flak from a gump, the first thing you do is ask them when he/she graduated from UAT. This typically shames them into silence.
