Will The "Mad Hatter" Return Saturday?

The last couple of years, Les Miles has played relatively conservatively (one notable exception being the fake punt against UF last year). He's had a better team than virtually everyone he played except Alabama last year, so he let his defense and special teams do the work for him and didn't take any unnecessary chances.
This weekend will be the first time in a couple of years that he will enter a game with a clearly inferior team, and the odds of him winning if he plays straight up are just not that great. How many trick plays should we expect?

They're gonna run a play or two from a new gimmicky formation known as the "shotgun."

I think that is still up for debate. Special Teams and Defense are still an edge to LSU. Offensively... i think we all know the answer to that one, but to e define as a "clearly inferior" team is a little bit ridiculous. It'll be a good game, who wins is still a wash in my mind.

LOL
Bama is #1 in the nation in almost every defensive category...again. And before you respond with the predictable "your schedule has been easy," think about the powerful offenses you have played: Auburn? Florida? South Carolina?

What does this even mean? Yes the mad hatter will return? Yes? Hell, I hope so.
Not sure why that'd be a negative thing.
You're weird.

LSU has its back against the wall. They have to pull out all the stops to protect the season. These are the games where you see Miles pull those plays. I would expect 4-5 of them.

You act like Florida ran the ball on us with ease all game. 80% of the yards came in the 2nd half with our starting linebackers out and a exhausted defense who was out there most of the game.

Lets put it this way,
If you think the players on the team are the only ones that want revenge for 1/9 then you are sadly mistaken.
There should be no doubt that Miles has had this game in the back of his head since that time.
I don't think he starts the game as the mad hatter, but I think any oppurtunity he sees to try and keep momentum away from Bama will be exploited. What that exactly will entail remains to be seen. But, I think the more Bama appears to have momentum on their side at any point in the game, the more likely we will see the mad hatter show some ... un-othodox decisions.

uhm, that still counts as getting ripped. Just wait until you see a real OL, if UF made you quit.
