Looks like LSU has no hopes of reaching the BCS Championship Game due to the surprising strength of ND, et al.
With that reality facing our team LSU can let loose without pressure and let it all hang out. We should be able play with the devil-may-care risk-taking style that has been advantageous to Les Miles' teams in the past.

Gonna be interesting to see how it all plays out.

LSU can beat anyone on any given Saturday. Plus the game is at night. I think Bama wins but I would not at all be surprised if LSU pulled it out.

Cutting through the bullshite, you just said:

"The fact that Bama is the better team and has more to play for is advantageous to LSU".

Not.
Buying.
It.

With all due respect, I expect them to prepare and play the way they do every week.

Imo Bama plays better when the pressure is on them.

If Alabama loses to LSU, no one will be demanding Saban be fired. Judging from the way people reacted after Florida, I just don't think the same can be said about Miles at LSU.

Keep telling yourself that Bama will fold under pressure. This team has lived under pressure for the better part of 4 years (attrition and player turnover not withstanding).

Keep telling yourself that playing fast and loose with is going to help the Tigers win.

I prefer fast and focused myself.

P.S. this makes no sense anyway, because if LSU loses, they are, for all intents and purposes, eliminated from the SEC West race, while 'bama would have a bit more hope. Not a lot, but way more than LSU would.

Both these teams have been in huge games the past couple years. I don't see "pressure" entering into it much.

Take this to heart - in these tough economic times - don't bet your rent money on this LSU team versus Alabama.

You can't will your team to victory.

And we will handle the pressure, thrash that LSU arse, get on the bus and come home.
