UT should just keep Dooley. What is the purpose of getting a new coach? Who would you get, realistically, that could beat Nick Saban? Nobody, so why not keep Dooley. Dooley is a good guy fro a good family and he will get better as a coach, he is just young. I like Dooley and I think it will be a mistake to fire him at this point. He has had some good games and he is just short of where he needs to be.

Keep the Dooley at least until Saban goes to Texas or Cleveland.

You can STFU too! Bamma went thru more whores than Tiger Woods before they found Sabin. You scared of Gruden so just admit it!

Completely true. UT has yet again started 0-5 in the sec, for the third time in a row. Before doolander got there, UT had started 0-5 in the SEC once in over 100 years. fricktards like you are not good fans. Satisfied with 7 wins over bullshite teams with losses to 5 legit teams. I bet you're a participation medal kind of guy, too, aren't you?

You're worthy of no more electrons than those which have already been devoted to you.

You support Derek Dooley -- still -- which makes you an abject moron. There is simply no reason for believing that Derek Dooley will ever have success as the HC at UT. All the evidence points in the opposite direction. You are blind to this. Which means that your head is in the sand, or that you're simply dumber than a bag of hammers. But you're head can't possibly be in the sand because you're typing on message board, and that just wouldn't work if your head was in the sand. So that means you're a moron. You're moronical. Like the dumbest mother fricker that ever lived.

And you can refer to me as a count faced toolbag, but nobody on this board knows whether I am in fact a toolbag or whether my face resembles a vagina.

But everybody on this board knows that you are an abject moron. You have demonstrated this through your unsupportable position that Derek Dooley needs more time to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that he is an atrocious coach.

So my face may resemble flappy outer labia, but you really have no idea. But the capital-T Truth of the matter is that you are a moron. And also a failure at posting in life. This simply cannot be disputed.

Good day then. And go frick yourself.

I hope this is the thinking of most AD's allowing Arkansas to convince Charlie to sail for his state. I'll take Charlie's experience and his resume at Lville anyday over Sonny Dykes's.

Making the swap to the 3/4 was a mistake. Sal knows the system but you guys flat out don't have the personality to run it. I know Sal is a good coach but can't speak for him as a coordinator. The 3/4 was a bad choice though.

Mark Stoops, Manny Diaz or a NFL position coach, etc. UT just isn't a top flight program anymore. Look @ your last hire to see that. UT currently is Fresno State with Bama expectations. You will be down for at least a decade. You have money and history but no recruits. Recruiting is the lynchpin in CFB and you guys don't have it. Accept that you got lucky with PF and move on. UT should be happy with 7-9 wins.

Hear is my reasoning, I support the current coaching staff no matter what the record is they are still coaching the Vols. I am not happy with the way the season has gone any more then you. The fact is if Dooley wins out he very well may be kept. If he loses to Mizzou, Troy, Vandy, or the Kittens he is done. If he stays we get one more year off his contract and we don't lose many recruits due to a coaching change and the players don't have to learn a new offensive and defensive scheme. If they do fire him then great lets move on and start winning with a new coach just please not Petrino.

I appreciate your enthusiasm for UT. I support the school, the brand, and the players, but I refuse to support the doofus in charge.

If we win out, what the frick does that prove? That we can beat the patsies that we should be demolishing anyways? There are zero games left that would give credence to Dooley's ability to aptly coach a football game. He's mangled every big game he's ever had the opportunity to coach.

We get to knock off $1 million from his buyout if he stays an extra year. You do realize the AD will lose far more than that in lost revenue next year if Dooley is retained, right? Drops in ticket sales, parking, apparel, etc.. will not offset the $1 million we save by keeping him. As far as recruits being lost, there aren't that many that are worth holding on to right now anyways.

This is all a moot point, of course. Dooley is a dead man walking.

UThug should give Dooley at least one more year. Really, he is actually heading the program in the right direction after the Kiffin debacle. It's hard to jump in a sinking ship, plug the holes and fix the leaks overnight.

I agree that he needs another year. One concern I have is that the team may actually be worse this next year. He had a lot of talent this year and should have won at least one sec game by now.
