For me, it has to be Brad Smith. Without Pinkel getting him to Mizzou, I wonder if our football program would have ever gotten off the ground. Watching him scramble was just magnificent, it's too bad his last couple years were spoiled by implementing an offense that didn't utilize his skill set, certainly worked out well once Daniel took over though.

I think it worked OK for Brad's senior year.

My favorite might be Jeff Hafer. Really cool guy. Could have played almost anywhere in the country. Chose MU and played out of position his entire career.

Brad was great. My stand out tend to basketball players. I'm sure that is because they get much more face exposure.

I really liked Doug Smith, Anthony Peeler and Melvin Booker. Talent and guts. I really would love for Melvin's son, Devin,to become a Tiger.

Can't argue with that pick, either

Heard from someone he was coaching in Moberly and passing out drunk on the couch in his office fairly frequently.

Can't determine if it's true or not, so I guess I should be a journalist.

If it is true, it makes him even more awesome to me. Badass grinding arse basketball player coaching a small high school team and being drunk all the time. Sounds like a movie.

No clue why my computer corrected prove to proove, must have set my calendar back to 1750.

Sutherland was playing semi-pro football in kansas or nebraska last I heard anything. That was a year or two ago.

Chase Daniel, was the best passer ever at Mizzou and could throw the ball all over the field just wish he could have won the big time games

I agree, but at the same time that certainly wasn't all his fault. Our defenses during Chase's time were AWFUL, they couldn't stop anyone. So anytime we would play the big boys we just wouldn't be able to keep up

yeah plus every team in the big 12 ran some version of the spread up tempo offense which usually wore defenses out by half time

Jon Sundvold because he and his play got me hooked on the Missouri Tigers.
But favorite may have to be Derrick Chievous.

Chase Daniel and Brad Smith are a toss up.

Also Linas Kleiza for some reason.
