Despite the number of attempts it took to get there, Manziel had more yards of offense than LSU had allowed to anyone all season long. It's a little silly to act like he got dominated. Regardless, at the end of the day, we missed kicked, fumbled the ball, had easy catches for long gains bounce off of our shoulder pads and into the air for an interception, etc. We lost. They won. The redshirt freshmen looked pretty good, but not good enough. LSU won the game. That's the bottom line.

Passer rating of 81.5 (source primecomputing.com), and would be a 43 flat Passer rating in the NFL. To put that in perspective, Mett had a lower NCAA rating, but would have a higher NFL rating (because of the different way interceptions are graded).

While "dominated" may be too strong, he "woefully underperformed both passing and running the ball" based on the pre-game hype. He's a freshman and he played like one at times. Our guys said it was "not fun" chasing him and it was like "playing tag with a cat". I take those comments as positive endorsement of the young man's talent. I expect him to improve and provide a lot of entertainment for the conference over the next 3 seasons.

Good luck the rest of the way.

He did not fare better than Connor Shaw if you are objective. See my original post.

once again, college football games are not, and have never been, decided on yardage gained. you ex big 12ers are gonna learn this sooner or later. our DC, and florida's too, played your coach like a fiddle. frankly, i hope y'all continue to use different rulers to judge success; i like the big W myself.

It was one pass, and the pass was like a 7 yard slant route....
