After today's game Vanderbilt has taken their first and only out right series lead over another SEC team, 21-20-1 over Auburn.
Next year could see Vandy break the 2-2-1 and 0-0-0 series record ties against Missouri and Texas A&M.

That's pretty embarrassing.

Vandy is quietly turning their season around after that 1-3 start. Their five remaining games are all very winnable.

Thanks, but this is WAAAAAYYYYYYY overstated. To be exact, in the past 5 years we have had one 6 win and one 7 win season, if you include the bowl game result. Prior to those, you have to go back to 1982 (8-4) to find better than a 5 win season.

They have Massachusetts, At UK, at OM, UT & at Wake Forest left. Definitely could finish 8-4.

it's not fair that Auburn stopped playing Vandy after the 50s and now Vandy only gets on Auburn's schedule when Auburn has their worst teams and Vandy has their best teams in recent memory.

Auburn did fight hard to even up the series, but order has been restored.

Instead of making fun of Auburn how about you worry about your own team, Vandy leads its series vs. Texas 7-2-1

Never thought I'd see the day where UTk and Vandy would be a toss up
