Why Do LSU Fans Love To Play The Victim?

Whether it's about poor officiating, SEC scheduling that individual universities have no control over, or biases among various media members, it's well-established that LSU fans love playing the victim. But why?
Is it, perhaps, that despite their considerably impressive record over the last decade, they've managed exactly the same number of national titles as Florida and Alabama and feel that they have underachieved (thus, they make excuses as to why that is)?
I don't see other teams' fans consistently complaining about any of the above like LSU fans.

Because they are the worst fanbase in America. That's why.

When did you stop beating your wife?

Why do LSU fans make so many threads about Bama. 21-0? Get over it. Scared.

Not a legit question. Coming from the beneficiary.

all of it is true.
I can't answer because I'm not an LSU fan, and I'm not inclined to whine about every other thing that happens surrounding my football progam.
However, I am interested to see the responses.
Nice thread.

Sad but possibly true.

I would also like to add, if roles were reversed between Bama and LSU last year, the Bama fanbase wouldn't be that far off either.

LSU has lost ONE regular season football game in the past 1 1/2 season, spanning 20 games.
Florida beat LSU.
Were LSU fans complaining? Acting like victims? Blaming anyone? Trying to diminish Florida?
No. By and large, LSU fans admitted they got beat and congratulated Florida. They might not think that Florida is the better overall team, but on that day, Florida was clearly better.
No one acted like a victim.
Why are you so obsessed with LSU fans? At least talk about the team.

It's strange. They believe everyone's out to get them, get incredibly offended at the smallest slight, and are frankly quite whiny. All that is fact.
I don't know why, though.

I seem to recall a certain Bama fan crying in the student section at the conclusion of last years regular season matchup.... and you say LSU fan whine?

Ironically, you're referencing one of the biggest complaints among LSU fans - that you have to play Florida every year. And yes, there has been plenty of complaining since that loss about that very fact.

It goes to genetics. Look at all the cowardly French blood that flows through most LSU fans veins.

Dumb thread. LSU has definitely been the victim of some shotty officiating (Auburn in the early 2000's, Bama when Peterson had possesion and two feet in bounds). Not to mention ESPN really doesn't give LSU the credit they deserve for how good they have been over the last decade. But theres nothing we can do about it except keep on watching the Tigers win.
BTW, on Nov. 3, gumps and espn personalities everywhere will be in total meltdown mode!

Why do you like men instead of women?
this is a loaded, stupid question.
LSU fans questioning how these two "bridge" schedules came together is now considered "whining" I supposed

Who knows? Why is the UA SIG a case study in mythology yet believed as true? A 'pliant' fanbase?
