What information makes you believe this? Honest question.
Because I think he cares about winning.
You think if he had been successful in the NFL he'd have left to "make an impact on younger kids"?

Well i wasnt specifically talking to you, just the ones that are obviously still asshurt about it.

Well that's nice of you to project your own values onto Saban.

What I've seen on a few boards makes me think this actually has some life to it. But from what I'm hearing, the Browns are moving to Cottondale, and he is going to coach the Browns and Alabama at the same time. This way he cam earn both salaries, and become the first coach to win a NC and Super Bowl in the same season.

The only reason I would see for him to leave would be to try and win a Super Bowl. He has accomplished almost everything else. Being a perfectionist I could see him trying to do this. Would be dumb though. Cleveland sucks arse and he would have to build from scratch.

And I'm talking to the Bama postes who seem to be very close to Saban. But I can't get a response.
Truth is, ya'll are just as close to Saban as I am. Which is I watch him on TV and occasionally at a game, live.
You have no fricking clue what Saban wants to do. And I don't either.

very curious who he said this to
the chances of saban to cleveland are low, but we simply dont know if his desire for a new challenge will rise if he gets a third NC in 4 years

I haven't read the thread, and don't intend to...
But, here is my 2 cents.
Saban has a perfect setting in Alabama.
If he feels the need to try something else, more power to the guy. I would say thanks to him for what all he did and wish him well.

Which information? I can provide many links to him leaving a program for another program

Obviously
It's true. If Saban did leave, Bama would spare no expense in finding a coach that would keep them competing year in and year out. Might have one off season if he left, but there's to much invested in the program for it to just crumble.
LSU has made a lot of progress in becoming a top program over the last few years, so that's what I choose to focus on rather than crossing my fingers that any other program just moves out of the way, making us better by default. Except for USC. frick USC.

Had to laugh when the comment was made that Nick does not care bout the money. Odd, then, that his paycheck has added a lot of zeroes every time he has moved. A lot of zeroes. As for taking a pay cut to leave the Fins: go ahead & believe that if you will. Look at the total $$$ in the contract, not the yearly amount. As well, he sold his home in erotic Miami for $2.1 M & paid $600K for his home in bama. Do the math. As for being butt hurt over Nicky, no, not since he left LSU on Christmas Eve & never had the balls or courtesy to come back to LSU for a goodbye press conference. His one & only press conference was in Fla while down there for the bowl game. That showed his class & I could care less what he does or where he does it now. Most LSU fans here are just laughing, as we heard this same story/rumors every yr he was here.

I wonder how long until someone brings this up in a presser and he goes ape shite

Nick Saban has been quoted several times about why he returned to the college game. Feel free to dismiss the comments as part of his big fraud, but don't say "you have no reason" to believe it. There is reason to believe that the man wants what he says he wants.
He may be in Cleveland tomorrow, or Dallas, or Louisiana Monroe for all we really know. But it's not naive or foolish to actually listen to a man tell us what he wants. That being said, I fully understand why so many of you desperately want him to leave Alabama, and I don't fault you for it. Fap away.

This
Saban is not an NFL coach. Would he be good? Sure. But, he is infinitely better in teh NCAA. Why? Because the dude can recruit and get 18-21 year old kids to listen and perform.
