I said from what I have seen, that with the right game plan it's possible.

so you are predicting that it is possible. equally funny.

Now I get why you are saying EXPERTS agree that your CB is the best. Low comprehension skills.

so you are saying that most experts don't agree that Dee is the best? and i am the one with reading comprehension problems? Gold.

Oh, so now you want to talk future tense instead of what has already happened? Weird that your argument changes when facts are introduced, isn't it?

these guys are jokes as far as debating goes. pathetic.

CB is a hard position to predict sometimes....Do you want the guy who stops the most passes or a guy who they don't even throw near? I think Dee is great, but is it better to lead the country in that stat, when other CBs may not have as many defended because QBs don't throw their way?

I want the guy that doesnt let his guy catch the ball regardless of what happens...which is what Dee does.

I didn't change. The reason he's at the top is he's at Bama, and more qbs throw at him.

The whole perception will change with the schedules. Ut and msu will test him.

Just not as well as banks, since now we are saying regardless of what happens seeing as he only gets thrown at about 5 times a game.

it's true that this stats don't matter as much for a corner. The most telling stat would be passes completed against relative to pass attempts against.

Having said that, i'm sure milliner is up there if not better than banks in that stat as well. What will get him drafted higher is that he is an elite cover guy with better measurables than banks.

Personally, i'd rather the QB throw it at my corner that's going to get a hand on it than not throw it at him period. More of an opportunity for tipped balls and interceptions

Clearly the MSU posters on the SECrant are a better judge of it than professional scouts that get paid to make an unbiased assessment, clearly

How is something that is out of Dee's control relevant tp how good he has done?

You don't know? Alabama only played like 2 teams in the top 25 last year, that's why Lsu whooped them so bad in the title game. It's simple logic. Because banks has faced one group of receivers with a pulse, that makes him better than milliner, talent be damned.

What's funny is that these same mocks had amerson, banks, milliner before the season started..and now midway through when banks has proven himself against the elite passing attacks and milliner has faced no one, the mocks have moved Dee ahead. REC conspiracy probably

Was this to my comment?

I think he's very good so I'm not getting into the pissing contest here. I just know a lot of true shut downs don't have balls thrown there way because a QB would rather test the other corner

Open mouth, insert foot.

In what measurable is he allegedly superior?

Banks is taller and likely faster so better measurables? No, the entire argument is based off of Milliner's passes defended which is why I keep stating that nobody throws at Banks. If you want to go percentage of attempted passes completed I would like to see that as its a very important stat. I do know that very few balls get by Banks, and he has 3 picks on the season which isn't even the most by a player on our team. I am interested to see how Bama responds this weekend because I do think UT is a good passing team. Keep in mind that I am not saying Milliner isn't a great back, I just think banks is better.

Banks is maybe 1/2" taller than milliner and probably 15 pounds lighter. Milliner is a burner, I don't think banks is faster than him but we won't know until the combine

Both have their best 40 time at 4.37, Banks is 6'2" and Milliner is 6'1". Pretty evenly sized I honestly didn't know Dee was that fast.

as far as 100m, I can't find anything on banks but milliner ran a 10.86 at state his senior year, don't know if that's a personal best or not but that is moving

Banks is a full inch taller than Milliner.

Basically, all you said was "Milliner has better measurables because he plays at Alabama".

That depends on where you look, some sites list milliner at 6'2" and some at 6'1"

Height numbers are always inflated. Go ahead and bookmark this thread if you want because when the combine rolls around you'll see that he is NOT a full inch taller and he's got banks by about 10-15 pounds. Size does not equal height. I'm sure with all things being equal most NFL teams would prefer a corner that's 6'1" 200 over a guy 6'2" 185
