To be honest (aside from just giving you a hard time) it does need to be looked at. You would have to redo the divisions...but then what? Put Bama, UT, Auburn and UGA in the same division? What about UGA/Fla? Even if you go completely random, you can't predict which teams will be top 10 teams down the road (see Arky and Auburn falling from grace in just a year or two).

I know a lot of these threads end up in flame wars, but what LSU fans are saying makes complete logical sense from a fairness perspective and as a "conference" perspective.

Obviously all of us would love to keep all the traditions possible (and most LSU fans actually like playing Florida every year, because in cases like 2007 that win directly led to us getting into the N.C. game.) but the problem is the SEC offices decided to frick with all tradition by adding two new teams.

I'm just bummed that as it is now I would probably only be able to see LSU play in Columbia, MO four times in my lifetime. That's not a conference IMO

We are going to 9 conf games soon and your concerns will be over. Give it a year or 2.

And that's something I can agree with. I thought it was fine with 12. Adding 2 more screws with the rotation and I want to see LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss etc...more than once every 8 years. You almost have to go to 9 conf games, but when teams like UT has Oregon, OU, Ohio St, etc scheduled in the future...that makes thing very difficult.

Do you have a time machine that has allowed you to see the future? How else do you have this
inside info that LSU will be playing
multiple football games in Columbia, Michigan?

Serious though, after being to Columbia, MO this weekend. Once will probably be enough. Don't fret.
