Can Tennessee, Kentucky or Auburn save their coaches with any certain key wins?

Job Openings:
Arkansas - Open
Kentucky - Boiling
Tennessee - Hot
Auburn - Warm

It will be fun to watch these schools battle it out for coaches. Arkansas and Tennessee have in-state recruiting problems but Tennessee has better history and only a tad closer to Atlanta than Arkansas is to Dallas. However, Tennessee has a lot of debt and have been buying out coaches in multiple sports. Arkansas' AD has said he will pay top dollar if needed. Both Arkansas and Tennessee are finishing up brand new football complexes with Arkansas' stadium expansion coming soon.

Kentucky should fire Joker tomorrow and hire Petrino before Tennessee and Auburn fight for his services. I don't think Auburn will fire cheese but a blowout in the Iron Bowl is not acceptable even only a few years removed from a national title. Auburn has a recruiting advantage over Arkansas and Tennessee while almost being in the state of Georgia.

Have we ever had 4 SEC jobs open at once? This is about to get very exciting. The list of coaches in provided in the link.

When we go 3-9 with a blowout loss to Bama and UGA, you bet your arse Chizik will be gone.

With our facilities we will have first pick of a coach over Tennessee.

frick it. We just just let every coach that wasn't hired in the last year go (minus John L.) and see what happens. Could be interesting.

Yeah, it said that almost word for word in the article. Clay Travis is a douche IMO.

Pile on Tennessee's coaching blunders in a few sports it sure doesn't help them when it comes to the checkbook. Otherwise they never would've hired Dooley from LA Tech.

There is a shortage of quality coaches, usual, but this year seems tougher with serious checkered pasts such as Butch Davis and Bobby Petrino as candidates. This will be fun!

Do you not agree? I said this back in week 1 if Auburn or Tennessee had horrible years Kentucky should fire Joker midsession. Petrino knows Kentucky high schools and they could get a steal. Who knew it would actually start to pan out with 4 openings.

Yes, but why on earth would Petrino take it now, knowing that better offers will come? Offering now would probably be our only chance at landing him, but if I'm him, I'm not doing it.

what would a MIZZERO fan know about nice facilities? Please name one sport venue in Columbia that's better than what we have here at Arkansas.

Arkansas' football facilities are inferior to Tennessee's.
