What a tard.

Get ready, Missouri, for the Crimson-covered caravans, for the houndstooth hats, for the pretentious personalities.

The snobs of the SEC are comin' to town.

Don't know Alabama? Let me introduce you. I spent 4½ years attending school in Starkville, Miss., just an hour's drive from Tuscaloosa, Ala., the home of the Tide. I spent another year covering Alabama's hated rival, Auburn.

But back to that introduction. Tide fans have reasons for their sometimes crazed ways. Alabama is arguably the most successful college football program in history.

It ranks in the top 10 in wins and is tied with Notre Dame for the most AP national championships (8). It has 22 SEC championships — nine more than the next team — and employs the man some believe is the best head coach in college football history.

In his last 10 full seasons as a college coach — five at LSU before Alabama — Nick Saban has 103 victories, seven bowl wins and three national championships.

The man already has a statue outside of Bryant-Denny Stadium. He's the epitome of a living legend, and his legion of fans embody the SEC's football-crazed culture.

The stories you've heard about Alabama fans, no matter how wild, are likely true. I once knew a Bama fan who dedicated an entire room of her home to Tide memorabilia — crimson-and-white posters, bedspreads, blankets, curtains. Upon moving to another location, she was certain that her new home would have an extra room for her Alabama shrine.

Georgia brought an estimated 8,000 fans. Alabama might just double that.

Get ready, Missouri.

Someone that went to State and covered Auburn athletics thinks Bama fans are snobs?

What's wrong with that.

My whole house's color scheme is based on Alabama's Crimson and White, with a little Big Al gray mixed in.

I know people that are big NFL fans,Auburn,LSU fans etc.. that have these same rooms/shrines but since it's got Bama in there, Well I don't have to even elaborate as Bama gets the attention from every butt hurt moron out there.

"If you don't like rammer jammer...You probably just lost to Bama! If you think you've heard it a lot...Get ready to hear it again!"

I read this article to my stepdad.

His response...

"well, I don't want to be snooty, and people shouldn't act snooty to other fans, but we are the best."
