I would think that's the case as well. Don't need that kind of garbage around the program.

His offer will be pulled, he will be stuck having to go to Auburn.
Why has it not been pulled already?
You think Saban's gonna hold a press conference to announce that he's pulled a scholarship offer?

No it isn't.
Sodomy is not per se illegal in any state as the Supreme Court struck down those laws as unconstitutional a long time ago.

I agree in a big way! If a kid is 17 and his GF is 15 and they have consensual sex, that is illegal, but it is also a moral gray area. But first degree rape means force, or the girl was under the age of 12 or she was mentally incapable of giving consent. If this kid is guilty of first degree rape, prison is the only thing he should join.

I'm not going to sit here and say the kid is trash, because people are wrongly accused of rape regularly. But, if he is guilty, he is trash.
And even if he isn't guilty, having a scholarship to play football for Alabama isn't a right, and it can and should be revoked whether he is guilty or not.

We discussed castration on the OT one night. The poster known as Breesus is a rape apologist btw.
I'm of the innocent untilproven guilty mentality, but schools should cut their ties with his recruitment..bad publicity even if he's found to be innocent.
If he forcibly raped someone he should spend his life in prison

The frick?
Several kids I went to school with were in relationships that spanned 19-15 easy. I was unfortunate enough to have dated someone for a few years. It is what it is.

That was his last charge of statutory rape. This is a separate charge of first-degree rape, which is either forced or sex with someone <12 years old.
