Mizzou Fans...If You're Still a James Franklin and Yost Fan, Read This...
From Bryan Burwell, St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Franklin admits being scared:

Quarterback James Franklin even admitted so much after the game, saying he either pulled up, ducked or threw the ball away too quickly because after a while he just expected a Carolina defender to knock him into next week.

Gonna be interesting tomorrow to see if Finebaum has woken up from his coma.

Find the nearest bridge and jump.

Couldn't have said it better. If you actually enjoy watching your players implode, you don't deserve to have a Mizzou logo by your name. DIAF, beaker.

shite no. They did not run the spread. Urban made adjustments in year two that incorporated power plays mixed with spread.

He, or Mullen, who knows....

Watch the offense of moo state. Power spread. The true spread gets crushed in these parts.

And thanks to the two mizzou posters that couldn't put what I said into a broader context . "I think its funny watching Franklin unravel".. thanks for playing the 'snipe-a-quote' game. Take the other things I've said into the context of that statement. I'm frustrated that he isn't showing anything, no life, no desire.. nothing. And everyone else is seeing it. He is a dead fish out there. He makes remarks that he is scared... Its unbelievable. So in a way I'm glad he is unraveling so we can get the right man in there at some point and move forward. It's really telling what kind of surface level thinkers I'm dealing with when you jump on that..

Hung more on the newbie in their house.. and well our Vandy game... was not a 3 point game...

SC dominated Mizzou start to finish. UGA struggled vs Mizzou the whole game and then pulled out at the end. SC also never let the FAU and Buffalo's of the world rack up a couple of TDs on our D.

What I'm starting to realize is these football guru's known as SEC fans that are supposed to know football better than anyone actually don't know shite.

We just lost to 2 top 10 teams.

Should have only been down 14-7 at the half against SC but screwed that up. Gave them short fields all day.

Played UGA well for 3 quarters. Gave them short fields too often. Let them score 14 points that only required 6 yards of offense.

Mizzou isn't as good as either UGA or SC, but they have definitely portrayed themselves worse than they are. Smarter fans would realize that, guess I over estimated what you all knew about football.

Our defense smothering your O and our ST piercing yours =/= giving. Its simply SC > Mizzou.

Is that so.. dominated start to finish you say. That is true of your defense, but not your offense. While our d were fresh you didn't do anything. Not until the second quarter when our horrible offense kept giving you the ball in our own territory did you get those 2 tds, then had that great return to set up the 3rd td.

Connor Shaw having the game of his career might have helped too.. UGA and SC look real similar.

Oh thanks, bc I did say SC is better than Mizzou. Here we go with not applying context.. I was explaining how are defense isn't as bad as some people seem to think.

This doesnt tell me anything I didnt already know after watching just bits and peices of the game. Its a finesse big 12 offense that wont work in the SEC...but what can Pinkel do now? He doesnt have the OL or DL to change the system. If Mizzou is smart they will sit down now and review everything to see how hardnose the SEC is and what they can do to compete. Vandy doesnt compete every year but it knows it is an academic institution first and sports second fiddle...but they do compete in basketball.
Mizzou will have to recruit hard ...very hard to get the talent needed to win in the SEC...is Pinkel a relentless recruiter?

Dude just stop, we got ran off the field yesterday. Even though they didn't score a ton in the first quarter it was all smoke and mirrors. They had the 80yd run called back and we caused 2 fumbles and had a goaline stand. Scar could've easily scored 35 in the first half

They will/must adjust to a degree.

But what casual fans like you don't take into account is we are using a FCS 0-line. Nothing has time to develop with those guys. Our offense would be struggling in the Big12 right now.. yet bozo's like you just like play the SEC card and don't think about the entire situation.

This comment shows you haven't been paying much attention at all. It kills your credibility IMO.

Also, if hope comes in the form of 41-20 abuses at home, your bar is low as a fan base.

yea byrd didn't fumble in the redzone and shaw didn't have a 80 yard td run in the called back in the first quarter.

Meh - fans are fans they just have different cheers and colors.

Many of the posters here are 20 something, emotionally driven - reactionaries whose chains are easily pulled. You can typically tell which poster is here to gain insight and share information and which tortured small animals for enjoyment.

First rule is you can't allow some internet super hero to control you.

Seriously - do you think you could please manage to make posts without insulting anyone? Some of us Mizzou posters have actually made an effort to get along and engage in actual conversations a with our new conference compatriots. Your insults make us all look bad.

Exposed an injury riddled offesnive line is about it.

Last time I checked, conventional offenses get hammered from time to time also.

Folks, this aint rocket science. It comes down to who wants to go out an punch somebody in the mouth. It's that simple. So far there are only two or three Mizzou players, maybe four that are willing to do this and have done it in every game. Those players are Moe, Lucas, Lawrence and Berkstresser.

Moe don't put up big numbers, but he will smash you in the mouth. Same with Lucas. Lucas appears to have a nasty streak showing. This is what needs to be instilled in the entire roster. This is part of the coaches job. If Franklin doesn't snap out of his funk, they really need to start looking to Berkstresser.
