Greetings to all. The rest of you wil have to pardon us for a bit while we nasty ol' "bammers" have a word or two with LSU fans about a certain exceedingly UGLY team down in Southwest Jawja.
Tigahs, this season is my 52nd "official" campaign as an enthusiastic Bama fan. And during this time, I have grown to really enjoy not only the Crimson Tide, but college football in general and SEC football in particular. And, believe it or not, I've also grown to like you CRAZY folks down in Tigah Land. Saturday night down in Red Stick, Tigah Mike, and them lovely Golden Gals have certainly helped to make college football a LOT of fun over the past several decades.
Yes, yes, I know, because of *certain* recent events that transpired last January, most LSU fans will respond by telling me to just go "FORNICATE myself", so I won't bother trying to explain my comments with regards to what the best traditions of the SEC have meant to me over these many, many years.
Now, LOOK, LSU : This year's Booger team is one of the WEAKEST you've faced in a good while, and they're also having considerable in-house spats amongst their coaching staff. Therefore, it is time for you guys to hunker down and simply WIPE those guys rat off of their own home pasture. You've got 'em clearly out-manned on both the OL & DL, and you've also got LOTS more playmakers who should be able to "strut their stuff" in fine fashion during the upcoming game in Boogertown.
And while my obvious bias against the Boogs is clearly evident in my comments, keep in mind that it's *also* in your best interests to have a really good showing in your first SEC game of this season.
Why? Well, after the Boogs, you'll be facing mighty Towson before you enter a physically formidable 3-game stretch, starting with a rebounding Flarduh squad. Flarduh could never quite get their offensive act together last year, but they're finally showing some significant signs that they're ready to play some ball this year. And your battle with them will down in THEIR home-grown swamp this time. So, you'll need to practice opening up the floodgates against the Boogs, since you'll likely need to do the very same thing against a much more formidable bunch of very hungry Gatahs in a couple of weeks.
The final tally doesn't really have to be all that expansive (unless, of course, you've placed a big wager for LSU to cover the point spread), but what WILL help you is to come out REALLY strong & show your physical prowess and NOT allow the Boogs to have ANY hope whatsoever of making a game of it. If you do that from the opening kickoff, the Boogs will likely self-destruct & give you little competition except for the always-significant kicking game.
Once you've secured a really nice win for yourselves, we'll ALL be very interested to see how things go when you head down to Gainesville. I happen to like Flarduh as well, so I hope that both of you guys will give the rest of us our first genuine SEC slobber-knocker of the 2012 season.
Time to GET 'ER DONE, Tigahs. And it does NOT have to be close if you choose to open up a big can against the Boogs.
And, who knows? Maybe in due time, the rest of the nation will be gnashing their teeth once again when Bama & LSU have *another* big rematch for all the BCS marbles down in Miami in a few short months. Hehehe. Now THAT would be fun to see.
GEAUX TIGAHS! Make it a REALLY good 'un, pals.

I'm looking/hoping for LSU to be focused and complete on every series, and the receivers to hang to the ball. If so, well...there's Clemson/FSU and OU/KSU on TV also

Thankfully my desire to die subsided by the time I got my gun case unlocked, but I'm still fantasizing about the taste of cold steel in my mouth.

Boogs is an old nickname for Aubies. Never actually heard them called boogers though.

Boogs, boogers, booger eaters.

Tom Tide if you sucked up any harder the earth's crust would collapse.
You realized you've used up your entire supply of SEC cliches for the next 10 years, right?
Anyway, I'm with you on the much needed azz whooping of the war eagles.

Another fantastic post from a man who prays in Harvey Updyke's name on Sundays.
Please. Post. Moarrrrr.
To you sane Bama fans, this is why, though the team you choose to cheer for is a powerhouse, your fanbase is nationally a joke.
This is hwy you can't have nice things.
