I think they are a bit overrated to be honest, well not overrated, I think they are #1 at the moment
Just in the sense that I have seen the last 2 games and it seems teams are gifting hype to them. WKU was moving the ball on bama in the first half and they just coughed up a fumble and another fumble then another...it's like come on bama is good enough on their own with out teams gifting them shite. After the third turnover I changed the channel
Then Arkansas bent over for bama...the snap over the head, I think I changed the channel after Arkansas second tipped ball interception
I think bama is a notch below last season for the moment, specifically on D, that could change with some experience. But I feel the same about LSU to be honest

I agree 100%. It's not like he's saying Alabama isn't as good as people think they are. He's just saying they really haven't been tested enough to prove it. I have no problem at all with his comments.

Since when does the opinion of a shitty NFL draft "expert" matter in regards to the merits or lack thereof of a college team?

It doesn't really matter. We will find out as the season progresses.

I have to disagree with Kiper. I don't think Alabama is overrated. This early in the season no other team has managed to rise like the Tide. They are the real deal, at least right now.

They're not overrated at No. 1 in the polls. They may be overrated as "unbeatable." As of today 11 games stand between Bama and unbeatable.

I must say at this point I agree with him. We have not played a good team this season. Arkansas would have been a better game had they not lost thei QB.
I think we have problems on defense that will get exposed before the season is over.

I agree that we shouldn't read too much into the Arky, and I hate to say that because I had been really looking forward to that one over the summer. The shitty part is he won't have any reason to shut up either with a 1-2 FAU team coming to town this week.

Considering how much Bama lost on defense he might be right but I will tell you this, Saban isn't overrated; he's got those guys playing lights out so far.

Air Force gave Michigan problems.
Arkansas lost to ULM.

How can he say that and keep his job ? Isn't he supposed to say Alabama is unbeatable and will not lose again as long as CNS is at the Capstone?
