Yes.

If UF can stop the run they will upset LSU. UF has to continue to improve, but the 11 on 11 is a very close match-up. LSU is deeper but Florida has talent.

Way to many tards on this board think LSU will roll over UF. Probably the same tards that said Bray and UT would beat the Gators.

Solid comparison between UT and LSU.

I'm curious, could this be a Larry alter?

It wasn't one fringe fan it was our general perception of the base. It's not a cut down. I respected the program, and only hoped that one day we could compete with that program. It was an amazing run ya'll made. Never said it was a bad thing, I would just say remember how it felt when you had that confidence that you could play with any team in the country in anyone's stadium? That's all I was saying.

That's your opinion.

Don't bail on your team just cause Mett isn't what you thought he'd be. LSU runs the ball well.

The way they handled NoTex, Washedup and Idonknow, you have no shot. And they have out rushed everyone.

Yes. While the teams are different many of the fans are the same. Minus the corndog smell.

Absolutely UF can win. It's the SEC man and any given week anyone can pull out a win over anyone when playing at home. If LSU starts out like they did against Idaho then it'll be close. My personal opinion is it will be close and LSU will grind it out in the 4th qtr.

It's very ironic that Florida guy spent pages and pages of this thread talking about arrogance. Nothing said arrogance like the Steve Spurrier years of the 90's. Nothing said arrogant fan base like Florida football in the 90's

It's not ironic. It's his entire point

Yes. UF is a better team this season; LSU is different this season ... but how much better than the 2011 team remains to be seen. If we can run on the Gators and keep the turnovers to 1 or 0, I like LSU by 10–17 points. I'd be happy for another blowout like last year's game, but I wouldn't bet on it.

sure uf can upset LSU but i think its unlikely. There will be too many running backs to stop. we rotate 6 running backs and they are all elite. plus dont forget about wing dropping the ball down inside the 10 like its nothing. i think it will be too hard for teams to have 80 plus yard drives on our defense.

Mett QB Rating 164.2 66/48 (72.7%) 609 Yards 4 TD 2 INT

Driskel QB Rating 170.2 52/37 (71.2%) 495 Yards 3 TD 0 INT

They look about even to me

Except your comparing a 2nd year starter with a first year starter.

Um.....care to rethink that. Jeff played in 5-6 games last year, but didn't start any of them.

You really didn't have a starter last year. You kept switching for a reason. And JD has far more playing time than Mett.

Brantley was the starter, got hurt in the Bama game. Driskel played the second half, got hurt near the end. Brissett started till Brantley came back.

Like I said, recheck your facts.

Possible. Keep an eye on our injury situation. It seems to get worse every week. Against mediocre teams it doesn't manifest itself. However, against good ( UF ) and elite ( Bama) teams it could be a factor. Looks like we lost Alfred Blue now.
