Brantley was the starter, got hurt in the Bama game. Driskel played the second half, got hurt near the end. Brissett started till Brantley came back.
Like I said, recheck your facts.
Mett is a first year starter with far less playing time than JD. Fact.

So our true Soph QB who played in 6 games last year has more experience than your Junior QB who played in 5 games last year and led his JUCO team to an 11-1 record as a Frosh?
Do you do ANY research before you post? You're already on the internet, look things up from time to time. It will save you from looking like an idiot.

Dude, JD has far more playing time at UF than Mett has at LSU, period.

Well there's irony for you.

Now you're changing the statement. Yes, Jeff has played more at UF than Zack has at LSU, but Zack has played more at the college level (JUCO counts) than Jeff.
Your original statement was that JD has had more play time that Mett.....which is false.

Mett is still a first year starter anyway you slice it. JD came in and played when the game was on the line. I never count garbage time snaps.
Not saying either is better at this point. Done here.

As is Driskel. So you challenged my comparison of the QB's stats for no reason. They are both 1st year starters (excluding Mett's JUCO year)

Florida will hang close for 2 quarters if they play like Georgia did in last years SEC Championship game. I'm just not sure they can.

Yes. LSU (yes,I'm a proud homer)has the ability to pound everyone on the schedule except Alabama and even with Alabama, we could win by 10+.
With that said, Florida, South Carolina and of course Alabama are capable of beating LSU. I know that is some earth shattering comments, but Florida has the athletes and enough speed to beat LSU if we slop around.

Ok, I can't let that go. Driskell played in 5 games for UF last year, and attempted passes in all 5, the last being the 7th game of the year against Auburn. JD threw more passes in that one game than Mett did all year.
Mett attempted passes in one game, the 2nd game of the year vs Northwestern State. He never threw again. He came in against Ole Miss in garbage time and his only stat besides handing off was a 25 yard bootleg.
Far more playing time for JD than Mett.
