Semo was my host/tour guide for the weekend and I couldn't have asked for a better ambassador, she was great! Even gave me a driving tour of the whole campus. Ok so here's some of what I took:

Few shots from campus

We got into the stadium Friday night for a few quick pics

Outdoor Corey Smith concert Friday night

Indoor practice facility Saturday before the game

A tailgate bus that a ton of former MU players come hang out and sign the roof inside

I would love for NOLA to get a MLB team and build a stadium like that:

My dad took me to my first MLB game at the old Busch Stadium, and I have never forgotten it.

I was gonna say mean things, but on reflection, I bet there are many people who didn't know that. I know that because I went to middle school in the University City part of St. Louis, and jr. high in Kirkwood, MO.

to prevent your embarassment in a social situation, they are not called stadiums in baseball. they are ballparks. football is played in stadiums and basketball is played in arenas.

Good call, but Busch Stadium was called just that. And it still is.

Busch Stadium

Looks like a high school stadium. the grassy hill with the big M and then the raised sidelines. Not even an upper deck?

Awesome pics! I'm glad you had a good time.

I can't wait til we play Mizzou. I want to go there. Semo told me about that bus. I really want to see it.

Is that why LSU's ballpark is named Alex Box Stadium?

This coming from the fanbase that plays techno before kickoffs?

Coastie, the bus has to be experienced! The beer funnel was something I hadn't seen them do before though.

WG is an awesome Georgia fan! Glad I got the chance to meet him. Next time, we'll be more organized on a get-together.

Yeah because a song we play really affects what the fricking stadium looks like, retard.

And the new renovations look nice. Upper deck looks good. Still don't like the hill thing. Looks like a bunch of hippies are ready for an acoustic guitar concert or something.
