Surprised that Mason is not returning kicks but i guess they want to limit the hits if he is the between tackles runner.

That Defense will be stout next year. Lots of Juniors this year.

What are the expectations for it currently?

Few things jump out:

Offense:

Wow, 1 returning Oline starter. We are going to have some growing pains and will be a much different offense early than late in the year.

We lose practically nothing in 2013. Blake who may be surpassed by Coates later this year in terms of playmaking. Omac who we have a stable or RBs to take his place. Lutz who we will miss. And Sullen who Kozan may surpass soon anyway.

Defense:

Dline is gonna be very very deep.

MLB - Holland appears to have no real competition and Foster may start as a true frosh in 2013.

CB - White must be doing pretty well to replace last year's starter in Bell.

SS - No Enrique or Therezie is a bit surprising.

The only losses on D next year may be immediate upgrades (Foster and Frost).

Looks like a good D-Line but below average to average linebackers. I assume the general thinking is that the secondary is supposed to be better this year?

I was told by auburn fans that so long as dismukes was on the OL you would have no issues on the OL.

Noway that's happening. You are going to have a lot of issues on offense this year. A new OC and a OL that start a True Fresh at OT who is backed up by another True Freshman. On the other side.. a redshirt freshman..

Our DL is scary good. And next season with the guys we have committed it will be even better. Also there are a lot of high profile recruit names in the WR two deep. It's time for them to step up and do something

I think our D will be more improved if our DL stays healthy. If they play at a high level that will protect a relatively weak LB core. I have no idea what to expect from the secondary. I really really like Davis and Whitehead. Also Smith is pretty darn physical but I am not sure about White. I am glad to see though that we had some real competition this offseason spots were earned.

And I don't think our OL is gonna be as garbage as some people seem to think. Sullen and Slade both started last season. Dismukes will be back and Robinson and Young are absolute freaks physically. I don't expect to have the top line in the SEC but I don't expect the worst. Will be interesting to see if Kozan, Westerman, or Miller push into the lineup as the season goes on

14 of Auburn's 22 starters are upperclassmen.

9 out of 11 on defense are upperclassmen.

I don't know if I'm buying the "we're young" argument any more. The offensive line certainly is, but the team as a whole isn't nearly as young as the Auburn fanbase and coaching staff have been proclaiming.
