Program on the rise or on decline? His guy takes a stand. I don't agree with it, but it should lead to discussion for sure.

AU Backsliding?

Yep our recruiting classes say the same. We're definitely falling off the face of the earth.

Basically this guy goes off what every ignorant poster here does, which is two major rebuilding seasons. Not even worth the read

This year and next will be the deciding factor on Chiz and "backsliding". To make that claim at this point is premature.

When asked before making the decision if he hadn’t chosen a starter because he has two good options or none, Chizik said, “I think it’s somewhere in the middle.”

How fitting. From Supernova to somewhere in the middle.

He concludes the article with a lame joke that befits the SEC Rant.

In the three years under Chizik, a defining line has been drawn. Auburn is 14-0 with Newton, 16-10 without him.

Auburn is undefeated against rivals Alabama, LSU, Arkansas and Georgia with Newton; 0-8 vs. those four teams without him.

Bout sums it up, Once in a lifetime player. It's over now..

The guy is an idiot. Let's all be perfectly honest here, Cam and Fairley jumped our program forward a good bit beyond where it was in 2010. That team would have been good without them, but not great. Now, what has really hurt was Chizik's 2009 class (and somewhat 2010). It was very talented, but obviously a very risky class due to him trying o salvage he program from the dumbstruck fire that Tubs had left it in. Let's not forget that the 2011 team was the youngest team IN THE COUNTRY. That is why the team is still so young this season. That is on Chiz's early class.

Going backwards? No. This year and next year will be the most talented (from top to bottom) teams AU has had in a long time. If we aren't in the hunt for the title next year, Chiz is in trouble.

Auburn will be just fine ladies.

Im looking for a better record this year than last but 9-3 would be a good year THIS year. However, 2013 AU should be right in the thick of it.

Good thing Chizik still has one of Malzahn's recruits (Frazier) to squeeze out a win or two for him.

Definitely getting left behind in the SEC. 6-6 this year, maybe even 5-7.

Now with Texas A&M in the fold, Auburn is going to be increasingly marginalized.
