Most of the best seats are in LaTech's allotment. Ags are buying them through the LaTech website.

Have to love how a Baylor douche is talking smack. Baylor sold all of 830 tickets for the game last year in College Station. That's to see the end of a 110 year rivalry 90 miles from campus with their best season in years and a Heisman winner at QB. Baylor Bold.

Love how the Arkies are chiming in when they can't even sell out the band box in Little Rock for home games.

Many Ags have bought tickets through other sources for La Tech, I would bet the crowd is 50/50 in the end. Still, it is a Thursday night game in the worst stadium in the South, many Ags like myself have the fresh memory of the 3 hour park and ride system for the Indy Bowl. Students would have to take 2 days off from class to go, it's a very inconvenient road trip from CS with no main highways going that direction. Parents with kids have to do the same on the first week of school for most in Texas. Many Ags also are already dialed in for the other SEC roadies this year (I'm going to Bama personally as well as the Kyle games and SMU).

Bama goes to ATM wtf are you smoking. We're talking this year.

The rest of your points are extremely valid. Hard trip for parents. I always wr someone to watch my kids when I go to all the great LSU road games though.

I have bought 6 tickets through LAtech. Better seats and i didn't have to dick with our ticket department. They have their heads so far up their own asses it is amazing any tickets gets sold sometimes.

As already stated that place is a dump, its Thur, & its LA Tech. That said A&M will have a good 30K there no problem and turn it into a home game with or without the allotment being sold out.

A&M isn't the only SEC that hasn't sold out their allotment.

'09 Indy Bowl - A&M v UG
quote:

Indy Bowl is a Sellout, Except Georgia Tickets
The Shreveport Times reports that the Independence Bowl is a sellout. You can still buy tickets, though. The story reports that Georgia has sold only half of its 12,000 ticket allotment, but because the school buys the tickets, the game itself is a sellout. Georgiadogs.com is the only place to buy tickets now.
Look, I understand the logistical problems with a trip to Shreveport on December 28, but if you ever wonder why a bowl might pass over Georgia for another fanbase, here's at least one reason. We can't muster 12,000 fans to buy a ticket.

Even with UG not selling out the '09 Indy Bowl was probably the largest crowd in Indy Stadium history. I checked attendance from '03 to '11 in bowl games there and A&M v UG outsold them all. Sounds like Bama, Ark, MU, USC, and the rest of the SEC that have played there failed to bring as many as A&M did. Not apples to apples, but a similar enough comparison.

Edit: Found a more attended game. LSU-ND in '97 had just over 50K. Just a few hundred more than A&M-UG.

As already mentioned on this thread. We have been purchasing through the LA Tech ticket office , but resume your trolltonics. It will be a home game for us, no doubt.

Ags are buying their tickets through Ticketmaster from the Tech allotment because they're like $25 that way.

Anyhow, hilarious that there's a Baylol fan running his mouth on here - this is a school that returned almost their entire allotment to our game in CS last year, despite having a Heisman candidate at QB, despite us being their biggest rival and Super Bowl, and despite being minutes up the road. Baylol, a school that's building a smaller stadium because they can't fill the tiny one they have now. Bible Tards running attendance smack is the height of hypocrisy.

We need more unemployed, warped folks wearing maroon and white.

I'm hopeful the 12's custom of attracting such talent will catch on in CS.

That's going to suck when I drive 12 hours to Tuscaloosa only to find out they moved the game to College Station this year.

At least half of La Tech's sold allotment has been bought by Aggie fans, and a lot of other Ags bought tickets through ticket master. We'll probably have close to 20k there and it's a Thursday night game in freaking Shreveport. But keep trolling that we don't travel well...

this is pathetic. if the damn aggies don't travel better than that they should be punished. i mean shrevesville is very close to dfw and east texas. it should be a great wk-end; there's gambling, drinking partying, etc. AND, they have a damn good chance of winning that game. AND, wins may not be that plentiful this year. AND, a new and exciting coach is having his debut. AND, how is it gonna look when latech outdraws a&m?

We will start the renewed gulf war off with 5 straight wins with a mixture of the best la/tx talent.

To be fair, cs is a full 3 hours from dfw and then another 2.5 to the stadium. It's a weekday. It's being weighed against other road trip options.

And I thought you guys got LSU UF Bama and AU all at your house this year, kind of because the big boys want to welcome you to our jungle. Did the schedule change at some point?
