It's actually a good deal. They have several long couches, big bar, huge tv screen, and you can see the field. I hung out with some friends that bought them last year. I would have rather just paid the $25 or so for those than the $70 upper deck seats we got.

Girlfriend just got an email from UM offering $79 tickets.

I've heard the University has had trouble getting rid of the tickets. My girlfriend's parents are season ticket holders but pretty far down the Tide Pride totem pole. But they got an email about a month ago that tickets were being sold to those on their membership level, which was pretty surprising to them.

How should we read into this? Not enough demand?
Coming from a vol what do I find this funny?
They are standing room only tickets junior...If you want to sit and see Alabama pound a team there are plenty available for the October 20th game in knoxville.

For standing room only seats and a bag of chips?
Yeah, I'd say there SHOULD be a lack of demand of those.

LSU had no trouble selling all the SRO tickets last year, just sayin

Louisiana is a lot closer as well. I'm not travelling from Montgomery to Dallas for a SRO ticket.

I was considering the SRO option until I read some of the reviews from LSU fans on here. If I can't see the field I might as well stay home.

Like someone said though LA is significantly closer to dfw, and I'm sure they have a much bigger alumni base in Dallas as well. Either way I'm sure the game will be sold out or very close to it. RTR except against mizzou.

These games at jerry world are nothing but a huge MONEY-GRAB ! Terrible ambiance for a college game, they hold back most of the best seats for "cowboys season ticket holder/patrons"...70% of the tickets avail. are located in the stratosphere upper/upper/upper deck B.S. move by jerry world...worse yet IF your own schools ticket office does NOT tell their own fans about the very limited # of decent or lower level seats. Tailgating sucks and there's like 1 sports bar w/in walking distance = sucks. I hope LSU never agrees to a game, under those conditions, EVER again. A TOTAL disservice to loyal season ticket holders. Big $ for the Dallas area hotels with jacked up rates etc... need I say more about this particular venue/game...TOTAL CRAP !

SRO seats are okay if you get to the game early as hell and get a spot at the rail. Otherwise, you are just paying to watch on tv and say you went to the game.
I am still holding out on tickets. They have been dropping as the game gets closer. I am planning to wait a couple more weeks.
Did any LSU fans try buying from a scalper last year? I have never bought off a scalper here before.
