I seem to recollect some mention of Miles to Michigan, iffin I remember things correctly.
Can anyone confirm this?

Dooley makes it to Atlanta this year to lose to LSU. He keeps his job.

I've never understood why Gruden was always thought of as being such a sure thing.
If UT gets Gruden in the next couple years it will mean 10 years of bottom feeding for the Vols.
Tennessee is close to becoming completely irrelevant. They would do much better to get a guy willing to cheat BIG BIG and hope to not get caught.

Yes, Herby said Miles to Michigan. I'm surprised no one has brought it up yet.

Almost anyone could do well at Tennessee. Do you realize how atrociously bad you have to be to NOT do well at UT?

you're awesome at paraphrasing

PETRINO TO KENTUCKY!!11!1
Wouldn't tell him because he's a Louisville fan that can't be trusted obviously.

According to this, gruden will be the coach of Kentucky next season

Herbstreit is one guy I'd like to punch square in the face.
If he's calling a game, my tv is on mute.

gruden will never coach tennessee, but the funniest thing about these threads are the people who try to convince themselves he's a terrible coach.

If Gruden goes to Tennessee, the SEC east is fricked.
I grew up a Tennessee fan*, so I'd love for him to get hired, even if it means another miserable year for Tennessee.
*=I am somewhat neutral when LSU/Tennessee plays(unless there is something on the line for one of the teams, which means I've been leaning LSU most recently. For example, leaned towards Tennessee in '00, leaned towards LSU in '07. Otherwise, I'm wearing a white shirt when they play.

I don't know how you could just be neutral when they play each other. Surely you were pulling for the tigahs last year considering what was on the line.

If both teams are equal I tend to be on the fence more. Last year I was LSU, being Tennessee had two loses already. I grew up most my life in BR, so everyone I know are LSU fans, as a kid they messed with me when the game was played. Last year was my first time not being at the game that I could remember. Til I got to LSU in 08, I was a Tennessee lean usually, but my two best buds from highschool started playing at LSU and made friends with a bunch of guys on the team so naturally I drifted closer to LSU.
I'm root for both when not playing each other, unless one losing helps the team in the better position. I'm quick to chose sides normally, but this one always stumps me when all things are equal. The Vol in me is part of the reason I dislike Bama so much, though I respect the program. I follow LSU closer now though as I'm getting older going to all the games and TAF is getting more money from me and my family.
I'd consider myself 50/50 when they play, but probably still one of the bigger Tiger fans there is, if that makes sense.
ETA: it works out though, I won't be upset either way when they play. Im just an unbiased spectator. Things changing though considering I see Death Valley everyday from my balcony. My dad is a huge Tiger fan though. Miles is his neighbor, so that definitely made me lean to LSU since he's been there and I've got to talk to him a few times.

I can't decide whether Herby is naive or just plain stupid. Maybe both. "Miles to Michigan"
