I disagree with that. I do think without Vinnie, LSU crosses midfield two maybe three times
oh look another joke about LSUs offense on 1/9.
Yall are making me so mad I'm about to punch my wife in the face.

Oops, forgot LSU did actually cross the fifty a second time

Yall certainly dominated an awesome QB that game.

What's your opinion of his blocking on our kickoff returns in that game?

Have plenty more, but wanted to keep it related to Vinnie, the original topic.

Drooling over average size and speed for a safety?
That's almost identical to Mark Barron's measurables, FYI. A safety that's that big, that can run and hit and play instictively is not "average". It's very good. And I'm not talking about what Bama fans think of him, I'm talking about all of our rivals down playing him like he's a weakness. Like I said, if he had those same measurables and was black, many of those critical comments would not be made.

Honestly the kid reminds me of a John Lynch. Not supremely talented but a helluva motor. Very smart football player that gets the most out of is limited ability by working his arse off.

What's with the Vinnie Badger stuff? He is not close to the playmaker TM7 is.

The topic of discussion last december was "Is this the greatest college football team of all time?" regarding LSU...after the arse whipping it's "well our QB sucked that's why we got embarrassed"
I don't think another team stayed within 2 touchdowns of LSU so you're QB's weren't losing any games for you, they just met a team in january that they couldn't handle. Keep coming with the excuses though, they amuse me

It all started as a tongue in cheek comment to get under LSU fans skin.
The second part is to be determined, kid was a true freshman last year, for all we know he could be twice the playmaker as TM7, let's see what he does as a starter

Mostly based on his tenacity last season and his opportunistic performance in a starter's role at A-Day.
If he turns out to be overrated, the resemblances are uncanny, IMO.

I agree with most of this. That's what got him on the field early. Being a coach's son, he came in knowing the playbook inside and out. The only problem with that is, a player like that doesn't have as much room for improvement as a supremely athletically gifted player who may need a little time to learn the playbook and start playing at full speed. Vinnie already knows the plays. How much better can he get? Some. But a lot? I don't know.

I made the statement just yesterday at a BBQ when talking about the upcoming season that Vinnie would have a good year. I even said, "for a white boy to be playing like that is big." Vinnie is still very young and will be even better after having another year under Saban. He's is ALWAYS around the ball, and he wants the opponent to remember #3 hit 'em.

He kind of pussed out on an open field tackle of Fowler in this year's Spring game. Made the tackle efficiently, but didn't take the opportunity to try and wreck him like he did to Vogler last year. I guess not even Vinnie likes tackling that guy.

I saw Vinnie try to take down Fluker once in the Spring game. Vinnie literally road Fluker to the ground and wouldn't let go.

Lesson from this topic: LSU fans have the supreme butt hurt on all things Bama.

2009 Bronko Nagurski Defensive Player of the Year in North Carolina and the 2010 Class 6A ASWA Defensive Player of the Year in Alabama and Lineman of the Year in high school. Don't forget all of the plays that he made in the Under Armour All American game, not to mention how well he performed during week of the practice leading up to the game.
Comes to Alabama and is named a five-time Special Teams Player of the Week by the Alabama coaching staff and ranked 8th on the team in tackles...as a true freshman.
Keep doubting him, and he'll keep proving you wrong.
