I'm sure this is "not this shite again" worthy, but it's summer so you're going to get these.

Can we get a graph of the inches each seat gets on the bleachers for Neyland over the years

i've always liked the location of Neyland Stadium.
but i dont like the architecture. its getting a bit better with the recent renovations. But so many things over on that side of Knoxville/UT campus just scream early 1980s architecture to me. its just kinda offputting

Very cool. What are those roads in the background of the scoreboard picture? Do people park in the grass?

I visited Neyland in the summer of 05, and the outside was kind of meh but I always liked the inside.
I'd like to check out one time now that they got the changes all put together.

It looks like Memphis' Tiger Alley. They pull their cars onto the grass and put a tent beside it and there are electrical hookups. It's very nice. Not as scenic as most SEC tailgates, but very nice. Is that what Carolina does? I know they have the train cars and all that too.

Is Neyland really the shithole everybody makes it out to be?

Looks like Missouri's present day stadium minus the rocks and track around the field

Their stadium is not on campus, so yes

Yea, that is the state fair grounds. They revamped them with the roads going in. Trees were planted everywhere too. We also just tore up the old farmers market. Our AD went to all the campuses in the SEC to take some ideas for the design. Apparently they are planting some species of Oak in there that has leaves that turn Garnet during the fall. Pics of what it should look like below.

The concourses that haven't been renovated yet are straight out of the 1930s.
The part of the stadium that has is first class though.
The visitors side won't be done until around 2020.
