Thoughts on AP report that SEC is 'lenient' on marijuana discipline?

I looked and didn't see this linked, not really sorry if it was.

Anyway, my thoughts are that this is some pretty bad 'SEC is so bad' whining by the rest of the country. The article is at best incomplete and at worst completely misleading. The SEC is lenient compared to who? The Big10? We don't know, no information is provided on other conferences. Or just compared to the overreaching NCAA's punishment? Who cares. Weed is not a performance enhancing drug therefore I really think punishment should come down to the conference and schools' policies.

My thoughts on players smoking weed are consistent whether it be TM7, Dyer, Harvin, or a Bama player: I really couldn't care less about that particular offense. Thoughts on this drivel?

Well...If you get caught in a California school, but you have a license to use, do you still get punished?

And UGA's policy is really strict if i recall.

If you can't take them down on the field...you've gotta find something...
