4 SEC teams already in supers...

with 2 more having a chance to punch their ticket.
Conversely, the ACC has already had 5 teams eliminated.

And yet the selection committee year after year is all over the ACC. When are they going to learn the ACC is a middle of the road baseball conference.

That is quite the hyperbole. Statistically the ACC was the best in the regular season. You can't really blame the selection committee for that.
Im not arguing that they didnt perform to expectation and fulfill their seedings. But you cant blame the committee

Yeah, I agree. SEC has a harder conf schedule and we are the best conference, but the ACC is second to the SEC and plays some solid baseball.
Middle of the road? Who is above the ACC besides the SEC?

How is that quite the hyperbole? When is the last time the ACC proved they were an elite team on the field? If you quote RPI, you can GTFO.

But I still think the ACC is better top to bottom and has better schedules all around.

They haven't won a national title in about 40 years or so. I'd agree that doesn't even qualify for middle of the road.

SEC teams that will make it to Omaha:
1. Florida/Vandy (will play in Supers assuming Vandy wins today)
2. South Carolina (will host Oklahoma or AppState in Super)
3. Arkansas (will host Super versus Dallas Baptist if Baylor loses today)
4. LSU (will host UCF or StonyBrook in Super)
-Ole Miss is still in it, but they have to win today vs TCU and then go on the road and beat UCLA in Super
So....probably 4 SEC teams in Omaha (3 on one side of the bracket, LSU on the other side)....If LSU takes care of business in Omaha (BIG if), then it will most likely be an All-SEC championship series

That is like saying Florida has never won a title so they are a middle of the road program.

The ACC is always strong in RPI and crumbles in the post season. Look at UVA last year. Nearly unbeatable in the ACC and we send them home in 2 straight from Omaha. Clemson the year before...etc. ACC is a decent conference, but they have proved little to be considered and elite conference. Statistics don't mean anything. It's how you perform on the field in the tournament against other conferences and the ACC is lacking in that department.

You can't use the same logic for one team as you can for a whole conference. It's much harder for an individual team to win a title then it is for a conference. You know that. Plus the only team standing in Florida's way last year was another SEC team. They rolled through everyone else.
