I am not going to defend the OP, but it does bring up an interesting point. We've yet to see a true spread run with top level talent. The closest was Florida but it wasn't like the Holgerson or Leach offense.

It will be interesting to see what Kingsbury(leach protege) can do in the SEC. It will also be interesting to see if he goes "Air Raid" or if he uses more of our really good backfield. It would be a shame to waste all that running talent with such a good O line.

He said he saw no need to change his scheme. I'm saying Mizzou can win a lot of games but not 'make that jump' (ATL/BCS) with this view. I take it you disagree?

I thought you were talking recruiting. If the scheme needs to be changed then it will be.

I think Pinkel will make needed changes as he sees fit but the scheme will change who he recruits, no?

The OP does know that Donta Hightower ran a 4.6 at the NFL Combine right? I'd love to see his arse run that fast.

Mr. Bopper, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

fricking hilarious. :lol

So nobody in the SEC has been able to run Bama ragged, but these two middle of the road Big12 teams suddenly will be able to?
The frick?

Does Bama change their way of thinking and start planning for more speed than mass at LB ?

Dont'a Hightower - 6'2" 260 lbs

40 times - 4.6

I'm not sure, but I believe DePriest and Nico are both faster than Hightower, and I'm fairly certain Reggie Ragland was said to be.

I know CJ Mosley is faster than Hightower.

This !!!

As usual most of you go rantard and dont get the jest of the post.

For A&M and Mizou to be competitive in the SEC, they will have to get better players in and I think that they will in time.

Let's not forget that Georgia Tech ran Bama silly in the first half of the game last year...It can be done.

I have seen Sumerlin's offense up close and with 1 and 2 star players they made some teams look silly, what could they do with 4 and 5 star guys ?

Texas still does not want to play Houston.

Just a future thought is all that I was asking.

BTW, DBG will make a lot of good teams look stupid in the next few years.

???? don't think we've played tech in a few years..

it can be done, but given enough time all big time sec teams will adjust to whatever the newbies bring in...probalbly before the newbies adjust to the sec...
