With Georgia's schedule they aren't a darkhorse, Isn't UGA preseason top 15?

If LSU and UGA play for the second straight year in the SECCG, I could see UGA pulling out a close one. It was a neck and neck game before TM7's return.

It was, but then we rushed for over 200 yards in the second half.

IF it were to happen, I'd go with Georgia. They return the best QB in the SEC

Legit thread or just trying to piss off hog fans...

Arkansas has a great qb no doubt

Not if he's below Murray. Murray isn't bad but he isn't one of the greats.

I'd go with South Carolina. Big time RB coming back. Clowney will be even better. Good defense and their QB looked to be pretty good. They'd be a contender with great QB play.

Dark horse? Not UGA, they could bump off LSU or Bama in the SECCG and make it to Miami. Would be surprising but not out of the question.

I'd be shocked if Georgia got to the title game. They'd have to beat the west champ and the last 4 years they've had 3, 5, 7, and 4 losses. They haven't had a team with only one loss since 2002. They'd have to finish with 1 loss or less and win the SECCG. I'd consider them a darkhorse.

SC (even though a lot of people have them ranked in their preseason top 10).
I don't see how they win @ LSU though.

You have to look at the specific team. This years team lines up with some of the really good teams we've had under Richt. Returning starter at QB, stable of solid backs, fast experienced defense, and a great group of Wr's. The only question mark is special teams, and that could be big. We'll see how it goes but I really like our chances, as opposed to the last 3 seasons where I didn't have high expectations.

I don't think they're better than USCe though. I don't think they're better than Bama or LSU. Richt hasn't had a good season since 2007. I do agree that Georgia is really talented, however I do think you'd have to consider them a dark horse based on recent performance and the strength of the SEC. Obviously avoiding Arky, Bama, and LSU is huge but I still have lost some faith in Richt at this point. He lost to Boise and MSU last year. That isn't good.

Well, considering Arkansas has to play Bama and LSU like every year..and both schools are just as good and will take the Hogs to the woodshed again, i'd say they aren't a darkhorse NC contender. Just a hunch.

Murray has been a very good qb playing for a sub-par team. They are just starting to become a formidable team with balance
